Coffee Pot Cathy's

Wow! Cathy’s is a gem! They are slammed during the Summer months and open year around. The Jalapeño Bacon quiche was delicious. The creaminess of the eggs, chopped jalapeños throughout, pieces of bacon and the crust is just crispy enough to be a delight. Combined with a iced caramel macchiato made this breakfast something to come back for. The menu is limited right now during the winter, but between the muffins, danishes and daily breakfast specials, come early before they are sold out.

We stopped by here for lattes and to kill some time while waiting for our Heart Island shuttle.
It’s a cute café and looks like a local favorite, as it was very busy at 9:30 am on a Thursday. Luckily, one group was leaving as we arrived, so we were able to get one of the few tables. Cathy was our waitress and was friendly and efficient. Her grandson (great grandson?) was helping out, trying his best at being a waiter. He looks like he's 9 or 10? So adorable.
Our hot vanilla lattes with extra espresso shots were great, as were our muffins.
Note: We did stop here again after our Boldt Castle Tour to grab a couple lattes for the road. We were the only customers at that time. A teenage barista was working and was friendly. We forgot to order extra espresso so our lattes were way too weak; more like mild coffee flavored milk. Our fault for forgetting, but the lattes definitely need the extra shots.

Good coffee, decent prices. Didn't try the food, but it looked delicious! Dining area is small, but there is outdoor seating. Great to grab a cup of coffee and a donut before your ferry or boat trip.

Excellent food and service. Super nice people and they open early! It was a wonderful way to start my day!

Outstanding breakfast spot in Alex Bay. I ate here both mornings that I was in town visiting the 1,000 Islands. Not much inside seating, but I was able to get a table both days. The food was outstanding. Each morning I had a ham and cheese omelet, and a sausage patty with toast and coffee. The weird thing is that my bill was different on both days, so I am not sure if I was overcharged or undercharged one of the days. Other than that, it was a great experience here!

We visited this place both days we were in Alexandria Bay! They have espresso drinks, lots of flavors and choices. Also drinks without coffee. Great choices for baked goods and awesome sandwiches, quiches and other options, there's a few outside tables to eat at, or take it to go! We loved this place, please stop in!

This place is small so get there early. Food and drinks are good.

As a teenager with a coffee addiction that has got to be the best iced coffee I have ever had. They were super busy with food orders and drinks but service was great on took 2 minutes!!!

Coffee Pot Cathy's will be the only place in Alexandria Bay, where you will have a good breakfast. The eatery is small, charming, and spotless: the owner is amiable and happy to serve. The coffee was hot, strong, and full of flavor. I had the jalapeno bacon quiche, and my husband had the garbage omelet. Everything delightful. I will be eating breakfast here next time we stay. Don't miss out on gem during your stay in the bay.

Super friendly, large portions, good breakfast food and affordable

This is cozy little diner with great food, but usually only visited by locals. They want to keep it a secret so tourists don't ruin it. The food is fresh and delicious. The coffee is hot. The staff is friendly. There's not a lot of elbow room, but you'll make some new friends when you visit.
