Pounce Cat Cafe

Great time to be had at Pounce.

I opted for the kitty bribe package and, oh boy, did it pay off! I got to know their personalities. Everest is a gentle giant. Squid is mischievous. Others were chill and letting other patrons brush and pet them.

If you have an hour, like kitties, and want an unique experience I highly recommend checking them out.

So happy I found this place. Did the 11am reservation and all the cats were very playful. Didn't eat but got an iced coffee while playing and watching the kitties. Very cute place and the staff were extremely sweet and welcoming.

Very cute little Cafe if you are a cat lover! We had a great time petting and playing with the kitties (although some of them didn't appreciate the attention, but hey that's cats for ya! 😜). I love that they adopt out the cats in the Cafe. It is a great way to figure out a cat's personality. My only gripe is adoption pick up is on Wednesday. We really liked two of the kitties but I told my girls we couldn't get them because we are in a hotel until Friday.

My experience here was ameowzing. There were so many cats and a lot of them were very social and playful! The cats seemed happy which is good, and I think you can adopt from here, so that's awesome. There were also a bunch of toys for them. I loved looking at all of their names and different personalities. 10/10 from me, I highly recommend it and would go back.

We did not have food, but the drinks are what you would expect. But we came for the CATS! And we were not disappointed, so cute to see all the personality! And you can adopt them!

This was my first visit ever to a Cat Cafe. I had no idea how the whole thing would go, and was great impressed with how they had the whole thing set up.

You reserve your time slot. Arrive and are given a complimentary drink. Then you are able to go in to visit with the cats.

We were told when we made our reservation that they like to keep it down to ten visitors per hour, so as not to overwhelm the cats. But when we were in the room, there was more than 15 people in the room most of the time. $15 get you one hour to visit with the cats. Though I do think that by the time we got there at 3 PM, most of the cats were over all of the company.

It was still a very enjoyable experience, and some of the cats were so sweet. I just wanted to bundle them up and take them home. Which you can do! You just can only pick them up on certain days of the week. So if you’re visiting for a few short days don’t get your hopes up. This is not a nuisance because it is in order to give them time to get the paperwork in order and make sure the cats are going to a good home, plus they have to coordinate all of that through the Humane Society.

Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely go again!

I visited Pounce in 2019 during a trip to Savannah and I was not disappointed! The cafe itself is so cute and clean - the employees were so friendly and the drinks were so good. We already scheduled two hours on a Sunday but we were walking around a couple days before and stumbled on it and decided to do a couple hours walk in so we spent a total of four hours here that weekend! The cats were so cute and playful, of course, and they were all well taken care of. I love visiting Cat Cafes anywhere I travel (if they have one). The signs they had in and around this cafe were hilarious as well! I grabbed some souvenir merch on the way out! Definitely recommend spending some time there if you're in Savannah, I will definitely be back!

My husband and I had a wonderful time playing with all the cute kitties! The inside is clean and comfy, and it was nice to have an option to purchase beverages and snacks. Highly recommend!

This place is the absolute cutest! You do have to make a reservation for this place and it goes by hour, but im not going to lie, I could spend all day in here! They have about 10-15 cats at all times, and each cat in there is actually able to be adopted! They all have name tags and how old they are on the collar, they have toys and stuff in there to be able to play with them! Before you go in, they give you a complimentary drink and you can upgrade to an alcoholic beverage if you would like! All the cats in here are so sweet and this is a great idea for adoption. Also, this is such a great thing for the cats to be able to roam around and get human interaction instead of being in cages at an adoption place. If you are a local or just traveling through, I highly suggest you go here! I had endless pictures of all of the cats so I just narrowed it down haha

A great place to drink and pet cats. Make sure to make a reservation! The place was packed when they opened in the morning, and they had limited spots. All the cats were highly sociable, and we almost went home with one 😭 (maybe next time).

I've been to Pounce several times and every time is a different experience, but always a good one. Since most cats are quickly adopted (yay!) there are always new residents looking for attention and play. Sometimes a friendly kitty will climb in your lap looking for treats, other times you'll make friends with the one hiding in a corner. I highly recommend going first thing in the day if possible, when the kitties aren't worn out from seeing so many people.

Such a cute lil place with sweet kitties! They were big on naps so we just gave them little pets. It was great to sit in the AC with kittens during the day for a bit of a break.

This place is so amazing that I went there twice! Very nicely decorated with fun festive toys for the kit-kats and fun signs and books. Be careful, there are a few that will try to sneak out and remember cats tend to not like cuddles. I suggest going during the week and earlier in the morning. By the weekend and towards the end of the day, kitties are overly socialized and will not be as friendly. In any case, a must visit spot in Savannah!

I highly recommend booking a visit to the cat lounge! So much fun & so many adorable kitties to play with and feed :)

In search of coffee we found coffee AND kitties! We made reservations for 11, when they opened, which turned out well because the cats were awake and playful. Reservations included a coffee or tea, fully customizable to your taste. This cafe is a great place to chill out, support a great cause and pet a variety of cats. The cats all have collars with a tag showing name, gender and approximate age. The cats were all well behaved with the hoomans and each other. It was a wonderful way to spend an hour - the staff did give us a 5 minute warning in fairness to the next set of reservations.

The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and answered many of our kitty questions. They’re sincerely passionate about the their kitties!

These people are amazing with cats. The cats seem very healthy and happy. I didn't get into the cat portion because they were booked for the day.. which I am happy to say.. but the cafe and gift shop were immaculate. There was no fur or dander anywhere and it smelled completely clean. I've been to many cat cafes and that is definitely an accomplishment to keep the cat smell away from the food.

The Pounce Cat Cafe is definitely a must for people who pass by and live in Savannah! There is a very well-furnished room for cats living. And its perfect sunlight through the glass windows is suitable for the healthy life of cats. People can decide whether to adopt a cat they like and have the opportunity to make comfortable interact with them. This is really the perfect place for cats waiting for a new family. I hope there is more of this kind of cat cafe around the world.

Had a lovely time at Pounce Cat Cafe today, it was the highlight of our trip to Savannah! The cats were very friendly and adorable! If I didn’t already have two cats at home, I would have absolutely adopted a cat named Bronx. He was so beautiful and very sweet and affectionate, I spent half our time there just petting him. My heart was a little broken that I couldn’t take him with me. This was my first time at a cat cafe and people who worked there were very professional and nice. Would love to return someday!

A nice way to spend an hour if you love cats. The kitties were so friendly and chill, it was very relaxing as well as clean and bright. There is a nice big window to the street that the cats enjoy and it is funny to see people stop and look in while you are inside with the cats.
