Rose Wine Tours

Rose tours came highly recommended, so after some research we booked 2 days with Rose tours: 1 in Dry Creek (Cast, Capo, and Reeve) and 1 in Sonoma (Matanzas and Hamel). Luke helped me plan for the days with fantastic suggestions and amendments due to weekdays winter closure. He is kind and funny and made planning easy. He is also more affordable than most drivers we researched, more down to earth, and definitely great value.

He booked the tastings and spaced them out so we weren’t rushed. He was the perfect amount of attentiveness and laid back. The Mercedes van was super comfy and he gave us great info along the way about both areas. On our second day we chose to have a bit of extra time. He thought ahead and made a great recommendation for lunch and booked us a resy.

If you can, book Rose Tours when you come tasting, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Luke!

Luke identified a nice selection of wineries together based on our specific interests: sweeter wines and wineries that were picturesque and/or had atmosphere. He was personable, picked us up on time, drove safely, and provided a well-maintained, super comfortable Mercedes van as the transportation. Luke selected a great lunch stop, too. It was obvious by his actions that he wanted to provide the best customer experience possible. I would highly recommend this tour so that everyone in your group can enjoy tastings and not have to worry about driving.

Luke helped out after our tour got canceled on Saturday for a Monday tour. He picked us up at our rental in Sonoma Monday morning and had planned a fantastic day of wine tasting. We enjoyed a great sampling of different wineries and lunch. Along the way heard we had some “Badgers” in the group so made sure we stopped by Hamel Winery to enjoy fellow alums creations. Luke was so personable and really made things so enjoyable. The day of exploring Sonoma wines really could not have been better! Highly recommend Rose Wine Tours to plan a great day for your group.

Luke and the Rose Wine Tour team are the best! It was the highlight of our trip to Wine Country. Luke curated an awesome itinerary for us since no one in our group had been to the area. He planned the day perfectly and was super friendly and responsive to all our questions beforehand. 10/10 would recommend! Plus our driver, Curt, was so great - he was even bumping along to Nelly with us by the end of the afternoon.

I could not recommend Luke and Rose Wine Tours more. We had the best time on our two-day Sonoma trip, and it was all thanks to Luke. The vehicle was immaculate, incredibly reasonably priced (and I shopped around, trust me!) Luke was so much fun and laid back, but his expertise was what made the trip so great. I had a few wineries I knew we wanted to stop at, he made all of the reservations for us, and even made a special trip out of the way to pick up another member of our party. He recommended some of his favorite places to us and even suggested some iconic stops along for a quick bite to eat. He was fun, accommodating, funny, and laid back- it honestly felt like we had another friend on our trip the whole time. I will absolutely book with Rose Wine Tours again!

We had a great time on Rose Wine tours! Luke is very nice and personable. We were able to collaborate on a list of vineyards between what Luke recommended and recommendations from our friends. He was easy to work and communicate with and we had a great day!

We had SUCH a cool day with Luke on our wine tour. He was incredibly helpful planning our tour, giving advice on the best wineries to visit based on our preferred wine styles, and recommended a fabulous option for lunch. Hugely knowledgeable about the local area, the drives between our pit stops were both very comfortable and informative.

We were in California from Ontario Canada for my birthday and didn't want the hassle of driving ourselves to different wineries. Luke was fantastic communicating with us leading up to our trip and we had a blast with him! Very personable, accommodating and knowledgeable. We mentioned we would love to see cheese production and he called a shop that makes cheese while we were in a winery and arranged us to have a visit! Definitely a highlight of our afternoon. What a great experience from start to finish! Luke was great to work with as me and my two friends figured out which wineries we wanted to visit. Between places we had researched and Luke's recommendations, we curated the perfect day visiting Jordan, Dry Creek General Store (Lunch), Lambert Bridge, and Bella Wine Caves. He scheduled all of our tastings and mapped out the route. All we had to do was pick and choose the places and he handled everything else. Day of, everything was so smooth. We made it everywhere on time and the the van was very nice and roomy. Luke is professional, fun to talk to, and made our day perfect. Luke was a fantastic tour guide! He knew the area and more importantly the people and the wineries! He worked with us to plan an agenda to introduce us to new wineries while taking into account our preferences. He was friendly, professional and fun! I highly recommend Rose Wine Tours and Luke! He built a custom itinerary for our day and was set to make reservations. Something came up over a month in advance and he politely let us know he could no longer drive us. He had already went out of his way to contact another driver, give him our information and set us up with him! That is absolutely amazing custom service and says so much about his character and business!! When we make it back to Napa we will definitely be looking forward to finally get a tour with Luke!

He arrived on time, water ready for us and plays your choice of music for the ride. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day! If you are considering a driver, his company is the best! My daughters and I did the one day winery tour offered by Luke Rose of Sonoma, California. Friendly, knowledgeable, organized, Luke gave us a fun trip! We did most of the arrangements via email. Luke was prompt. No delays wondering if he was " slacking" on the job. He built our tour around the wines we liked and the culture and environment we wanted. And, he made reservations at a divine restaurant, Mustards, for our lunch! AND....he picked us up and dropped us off at our VRBO. Very impressive service!
