Summer Moon Coffee

A great spot in the suburbs for some coffee and pastries. Came here for w a quick breakfast. We ordered the cool mint cold brew and the cranberry refresher. Both were quite delicious. Don’t skip out on the cinnamon rolls! They’re from a nearby bakery called Rosie’s Bakery if you want to try more of those baked goods. Overall a cozy coffee shop w good eats and coffee. Will be back again! It’s great to find a coffee spot that isn’t just Starbucks.

I’m a coffee addict😵‍💫 so I’ve been to so many coffee shops! I went in and noticed all their coffee beans have their own flavor, flavors I haven’t seen in any other coffee beans. I’m all for trying new things when it comes to coffee☕ so I got their signature blend to try it out! I like the idea of all the flavors coming from the coffee beans only rather than adding all these syrups, sauces, etc… all they add is their own sweetness which I think its like a creamer they make. Good for business 💯👍🏻 highly recommend this coffee shop ! ☕

A cute place to stop in, and a great alternative to Starbucks! I visited in the mid-afternoon and while there was still plenty of seating, it was still a buzzing place inside and in the drive-thru. The iced Blue Moon latte was great and their bakery goods all looked tasty — I went for a warmed ham and cheese croissant, which was nice and flaky with a generous topping of everything bagel seasoning.

If you like their branding, they have a ton of shirts, mugs, and glasses (some with Crystal Lake mentioned too), as well as bagged coffee and coffee pods to take home.

The coffee is amazing. The best coffee in town.
Atmosphere is ok and the service was great.

I saw a sign for Summer Moon posted by my gym, so I had to try it. I never want to go anywhere else for coffee ever again. Amazing iced brew, clean, modern and inviting interior. They even have crosswords and coloring books for a nice little wind-down moment. Highly recommend!!!! If you're unsure what to get first, try the iced blue moon latte. It got me HOOKED!

I have enjoyed going to Summer Moon since they have recently opened. The staff is very friendly and treat you as their family. They are very quick to complete your order, no matter how busy it is. They have many choices and can make their drinks dairy free. My favorite drink is the Java Chip Moon Glacier and the Mocha Moon Latte with 3/4 Moon and chocolate drizzle. Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed.

Tried out the new Summer Moon coffee shop in Crystal lake and let me tell you this is a great addition to the Crystal lake coffee scene. It's a friendly and welcoming coffee spot serving delicious coffees and baked goods. Love the interiors of this place, really chic. I love that they have a drive thru as well.

I tried the iced mocha moon latte and the drip coffee. Both were excellent. I need to go back and try their coke brew. They also have cute personalized memorabilia for purchase and also roasted coffee.

Atmosphere is very comfortable. Great value, fabulous coffee. Variety was ok. Not as many "mixed" blends as I might have thought. Excellent quality. Good bit of merch as well.

The shop is absolutely gorgeous!! The coffee is amazing - I got the Blue Moon Latte and would recommend 10/10. The staff is so friendly, and the shop is very clean. If you haven’t been, you need to visit!

If you haven’t tried Summer Moon you are missing out! Was so excited when I heard my favorite coffee place in Texas was coming to Crystal Lake. The coffee tastes amazing with their signature moon milk. Inside is very clean and a great place to relax or do some work. Everyone is very friendly as well! Great local coffee place to support!

After visiting the Summer Moon chain in Kenosha Wisconsin, my wife and I were so excited to visit this new location in Crystal Lake!

Based in Texas, they definitely bring some country charm to your coffee cup.

Lovely cafe in Crystal Lake! They have incredible drinks. Their moon milk is very good. They also have other bakery items, like muffins and Cinnamon rolls. Food is quite limited (more like a snacking place), but it's a great place to work/study.

This place is so fantastic that I couldn’t wait to review it. So, I’m writing while relaxing in their comfy chair.

The atmosphere is airy with some energy and impeccably clean. The staff is very friendly,’patient and professional. I had not heard of moon milk but they and a sweet young customer explained it to me. So taking his advice, I ordered a Moon Mocha and it was a delight to the tastebuds. The prices are very reasonable which makes me wish they would open one near Buffalo Grove or maybe in the city in Lincoln Park. This is one coffee place I could see myself frequenting for the sheer enjoyment of it.

Had service with Emily H. This morning and as always, it’s friendly and inviting. I love coming here to get my favorite coffee and knowing how much they pay attention to detail. You could say I’m a little addicted. Lol. Definitely a returning customer. If you haven’t tried this location or brand, you should definitely give it a try. 🖤😊

First time visiting. It's beautiful, spacious and energetic. Coffee was great and I tried a bakery item, which I enjoyed. The employees who served me were engaging, friendly and informative. Just my opinion... but like most cafes, the music was a bit loud and not really relaxing if you want to read or work quietly. But overall fantastic. A great addition to Crystal Lake!

The vegan moon milk is next level, they do it instead of caramel to have a different signature instead of plain old caramel. It’s super nutty in flavor after being added to their cold brew. I liked the fact that this place had alot going on in it, everyone minding their own business. Kinda had that cozy feeling to it but in a good way the people are to themselves yet super helpful and kind of you ask

Love love love Summer Moon! My husband and I have ditched all the other coffee shops and make it a point to come here every week. Their seasonal drinks are my favorite right now, but you can’t go wrong with any of their year round drinks either. We love the chill atmosphere. It’s a great place to just hangout, get work done, or have a little date!

Great selection of unique lattes, hot and cold drinks along with some that do not have any coffee. They offer completely customizable flavors and use their homemade sweet cream for your drink so you control how you want it. You can also buy that to take home which is a plus!

The staff is very friendly and everyone is knowledgeable about the different drinks they offer. I have not been disappointed yet.

I typically make my coffee at home but decided to try this place and they are so good! I got an iced strawberry mocha latte and it was delicious. They were super friendly, loved the ambiance of the cafe and will definitely be coming back!

All 4 of my kids agreed that the hot chocolate is the best! I also really enjoyed my iced americano. Very cute place and super friendly employees. We will definitely come back when in the area!
