Starbucks

Came here after my daughter and her friend finished a summer class as a treat. Place was clean. We were greeted promptly. Was able to find a spot to sit outside and people watch while the girls chatted. I would come back when in the downtown area.

Nice friendly Baristas, they greet me by my name and know my drink they always make a yummy Frappuccino the way I like it! Convenient location right downtown Crystal Lake, only problem is they close earlier now. Otherwise one of my fave stores.

One of the best and atmospheric Starbucks locations. Of course, great coffee. The decoration and atmosphere completely drained me.

Great design and the store is in the heart of Crystal Lake. Plenty of parking.

I like this location! The coffee and teas are great, but I wish they were cheaper. But it's known for having expensive coffee and the people there work hard to make it so what do you expect lol? The store is aesthetically pleasing and quite clean, with most of the people working there being polite, quick and kind.

actually spilled and drink and they were so nice about it, they made a completely new drink for my friend and clean everything up!

The staff is so friendly. After visiting a few times they started to call me by my name, which I thought it was sweet and personal and I am sure they do not have to do that. This is the best Starbucks location around - somehow, they just get it right, all the time. I can count on my favorite drink being perfect at this location. I've never walked away disappointed or upset with my coffee. Thank you!

Friendly and efficient staff both times I've stopped in. Wish I lived closer so I could frequent this location more often.

2022- Same as before but we aren't able to online order during events. Our wait was fine and our order was wrong but they were super busy. Ill give them a pass. The drink was still good!!
2018-Did an online order and the wait was a little longer than I was told. Service was still friendly. The extra wait was from the event going on downtown and they were extra busy.

If you ever need a chit chat or warm smile or just a safe cozy space this is my place to go I love everyone who works here and their passion for coffee is amazing. They never disappoint! Also very clean and proper health guidelines well in place!

The coffee is always great at this location and you get the sense people like working there. Great place

This is a great location! I really really enjoy the staff here. They are always so bubbly and positive. Product is always on point. The interior is pleasant and usually lively. Nothing but really great things to say about this location. Starbucks is great, this particular s-bucks is awesome!

Corporate Chain / Small town feel

I travel for work every other week and I always go to Starbucks in the mornings to grab my iced coffee and egg bites. I also take the opportunity to get a bit of work done before my day officially starts.

While sitting at my table and typing away I noticed that everyone seemed to know eachother, staff knew customers by name, etc. There was a table full of older gentlemen that discussed everything under the sun and made me crack up while working. It was a great way to kick off my busy day.

I highly recommend this downtown location for the coffee, food, friendliness and entertainment (aka people watching).

I object to Starbucks on principle because I think it’s cool to object to Starbucks on principle. The teens and regular people that congregate here are loud and seem to take up more space than they should. It’s cramped and overpriced.

But it’s the best non-train-station-related coffee shop in all of downtown Crystal Lake. Also, the only one. And in all seriousness, the staff has been consistently fast, helpful and down to earth, and I enjoy popping in when there aren’t dozens of skateboards and hover boards parked outside.

Friendly and fast staff. I don't think they have ever gotten my order wrong.

Great service but not as clean, today June 3rd I was in the store , I was totally impressed Julia remembered my drink which I forgot to say how I wanted ...Julia is such a nice person and I know she has a mask on but she smiles underneath that mask...thank you very much , you made my day

In Crystal Lake, this location is coviently locate the downtown district near the Metra train depot. As a good value, their iced and nitro coffee are an excellent choice. Friendly staff is a plus.

This was the first Starbucks I came too after moving here from Michigan an became a Starbucks fan because there were no Smoothie Kings here. Baristas are friendly and they are very consistent with their drinks and they make my custom Mocha Frappuccino really good never give me a lecture like a few other Starbucks in the area about my ngredients always make it with a smile!! This staff is awesome. Brent, Dayna, Jane, Amya, Justin, all of them are amazing. Best Starbucks IMHO.

My favorite coffee spot in town. There's no drive up window, so I normally stop in on my morning walk. Great atmosphere and amazing staff.
