Fun trails for all skill levels and not too populated. Some trash visible but no hazards. Not alot of parking off Alvernon entrance so plan accordingly

Pretty cool once you locate the tracks. I suggest coming in from swan rd where it ends at the airforce base. If you come in from alvernon you have to go all they way around.

The bike park is a great experience for young riders. There is lots of different tracks to choose from. There is a few homeless people living out there. They keep to themselves. They do try to stay out of the way. The bike park has huge potential to be a profit business.

This is a mountain bike park but it is still under development. A local mountain bike group is responsible for getting the ball rolling on this project. However it is open and what they have done you can ride on. The desert vegetation is largely preserved and the pre-existing paved bike route for bike commuters or recreational bicyclists goes thru and is unaffected.

One caution, the desert scrub forest is frequented by homeless people and encampments. Not to be politically incorrect I've had a few nervous encounters. I carry pepper spray (haven't had to use it) and recommend having a companion. If I encounter the same individuals several times I've been known to hang a grocery bag of food and snack items on my handlebars and give it to them. Most homeless individuals don't stay long.

The city police every once in a while move the homeless to better facilities but new residents move in and policing is sporadic as our men and women in blue are stretched thin a lot of the time. So just be aware.

Great place to ride bicycle. Quiet and off the busy roads. Please be sure to bring your own water since this is a desert park and there are no water fountains.

Cool place but you can't park anywhere near it, I park on 37th street and rude my bike east alongside palo verde.
