Fun place to visit if you need to kill some time and check out some of the interesting and cute animals. From the fish to the Boa Constrictor, to the hamsters and ferrets and parrots (OH My!) the store is clean and the animals look well taken care of. Pricing looks about average with supplies for most common pets readily available. Go pick up a new friend today! But remember, having a pet is a responsibility and not something to just impulsively buy. If you have any questions, the staff is pleasant to talk to. So ask those questions before deciding if you really want one.

I typically avoid Petco because most of the stores I've been usually have poor customer service. This one is not one of those, I recently got a puppy and they have been nothing but nice and helpful. If anything, I'd say they were almost to helpful. I'll be back for more puppy things in the future.

There is an older woman (but younger than me!) Who is very kind and she has helped me with decisions more than once. She is very patient and clearly explains things. She is a great asset to the store. I shop ot the plaza location at main and transit.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. My husband gets his fish and tank supplies here and they also have a monthly membership they offer with discounts on fish.

Getting our dog an influenza vaccine was very easy. We signed up at a time convenient for us and it took about 10 minutes from start to finish.

I just was here again and had another great experience. Their fish guy, Sam I think, was super knowledgeable and didn't try to school me or rake me over the gravel.

It is staff like these kind hearted folks that are helping my desire to shop as little as possible with Beezieboy.

I had a traumatic brain injury and it is a ton easier to just order from Beelzebiezeeboy but the kind hearted staff at Petco helps encourage me to leave my home and to keep trying to live with dignity.

Thanks and paws in the air telling Beezieboy to shove his 2 day shipping and megalomaniac empire cuz we no longer care.

I was incredibly frustrated after a damaged item had to be returned and they didn't have it in stock. Instead of telling me "sorry" and not really caring about fixing my issue with my pup, the manager Melissa was incredibly helpful!

So refreshing to interact with team members that actually care about their customers AND the pets they service.

Sheridan and Brittney were also very helpful.

Super impressed with the staff and policies when shopping here for occasional items, though we usually use the shipping via website. Staff is always helpful and polite which goes a long way and on an occasion that I had to return something that was open because it wasn't working right (one of those pill dispensers) I was not given an issue which was great (I hate returning things)

One thing that stands out is one time I was there I saw they had ferrets and noticed they seemed to have diarrhea. I raised ferrets when I was younger and am aware of their health issues and not sure if their sourcing is the same but it often results in issues like that. I felt concerned and then had to return the next day and noted there were signs stating they were not available to be sold and it appeared they were on top of treating them. I have some qualms with pet sales outside of shelters but at least this treatment stands out and makes me feel better about the practice in general at this location. :)

One of the best locations I've been too, honestly, THE BEST location I've been too. I know that many of these animals are not supposed to be in the enclosures they're put in at a pet store. But it's just temporary. So I sometimes look past it. I've always favored PetCo because the employees seem the most educated on all varieties of animals. Not just cats and dogs. But this location did the best at enclosure set up! I am a beardie owner and my heart always breaks when I see them crowded in tanks at pet stores. This location didn't have any over crowding. And the diet provided to the reptiles was the best I've ever seen! Most places gives dried food. They had fresh veggies in almost all the tanks! I'm a strong believer in only contributing to a business that cares about the animal. They really seemed to care.

Found exactly what I needed, called ahead and they were so nice to make sure the item was in stock.
