Loch House Inn

Wow! Our stay at the Loch House Inn this past weekend far exceeded our expectations! We received a room upgrade simply because it was available, and both Rick and Heather were the most kind and gracious hosts. The rooms are warm, cozy, and immaculately clean, and I don't believe the breakfasts could have been any better! The fresh fruit was incredible, and the egg dishes were simply delicious! The freshly baked goodies and homemade granola were unexpected treats that we thoroughly enjoyed, and Rick and Heather could not have been more accommodating...it was such a pleasure to get to talk with them a bit throughout our weekend stay. The location is also just perfect, and we would highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast to anyone and everyone!

Located in such a sweet, quiet little town, Loch House is a fantastic place to stay! The owners, Heather and Rick were ready to greet us and ensured that each room was comfortable and clean. Great conversations were also had the following mornings at breakfast, which was served hot and delicious! I look forward to staying here again, and highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

This is such cozy place. Very Comfortable, clean and beautiful. Heather and Rick were awsome hosts. Every morning Heather made delicious hot breakfast and we ate at the table by the window with such beautiful view. She also baked delicious treats in the evening. We loved Conversating with them. They're a very lovely couple and made us feel at home.
We hope to visit again in the summer.

The Inn is such a special place- instantly comfortable and homelike and made even more so by the wonderful hosts. We met up with friends there and the Inn gave us a space to visit and walk to town and the park from. Breakfast was amazing and the rooms were warm and inviting. Very comfortable beds and everything was spotless. Can’t wait to come back when it’s warmer outside!

This was our first visit to a B&B and we absolutely loved it. Loch House Inn is beautifully cared for. Our hosts, Rick and Heather, work together as a team and made us feel very welcome and comfortable.
We stayed in the Taylor Room. We had a comfortable king size bed and the room was spotless. The room had two robes and make up towels. Every little thing seemed to be very well thought out.
The breakfasts were amazing. Heather put in extra effort to make gluten free items that were delicious.
We would highly recommend this inn and hope to go back soon.

Rick and Heather were angels for me. I had a flat tire nearby and the place to get it fixed wasn’t open until the morning. I called after 9pm and they accommodated me. The stay was extremely comfortable. Homey and the picturesque landscape was the perfect way to wake up!

This time was for an emergency, but I will come back here again for leisure because they were so sweet! I highly recommend the Loch House Inn!

At a local's recommendation, we booked with Loch House Inn for our first bed and breakfast experience. The owners, Rick and Heather, truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From warm greetings to fresh cookies and detailed amenities, their passion for hosting was evident.

This historic home in Schroon Lake has so much character. Our rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. We loved spending time on the front porch. Sunrise on the lake was only a block away.

Restaurants and shopping were an easy walk. We loved all the local recommendations they provided.

Heather was so gracious in accommodating our dietary needs. She really went beyond anything we could have wanted. Everything she served was beyond delicious. The fresh fruit every morning was a delightful treat.

We would highly recommend Loch House Inn. We plan to stay here should we ever find ourselves in Lake Schroon again!

It is a cozy, clean, welcoming bed and breakfast in the small town. We were welcomed by the hosts at our arrival and were served wonderful a breakfast in the morning looking over the lake through the dining room window. The hosts were friendly and hospitable, making sure we had everything we needed!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Loch House Inn this past weekend. From the moment we walked through the door, we were welcomed by Rick and Heather to their lovely bed and breakfast. Our room, the Leland room was beautifully decorated and had a comfortable king sized bed, changing room, and a private bath. Details such as a lighted make-up mirror, iron and ironing board, large mirrors, and comfy white bathrobes were a nice touch! Breakfast were cooked by Heather and were so delicious! One morning we had vegetable quiches, chicken apple sausage, homemade focaccia bread with a tasty spring mix salad with apple slices and toasted hazelnuts- so good!
The town of Schroon Lake is charming with its pretty lake and flower decorated streets. Nearby attractions include Severance Mountain as well as many other hikes and Natural Stone Bridge and Caves is great place to explore.
We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

I have found my Adirondack “base camp”!
I had the pleasure of coming across Loch House Inn on the occasion of an early spring hike on Pharaoh Mountain Trail, and thanks to Heather’s & Rick’s hospitality I’ll make this place my “base camp” for all my future climbs, hikes, and ski trips in the Adirondacks.
The inn is an absolute sweetheart, with the most charming aesthetic (yes, the lake view is picture perfect for all of you Instagram girlies too!), the rooms are comfortable, and most importantly spotless, to a very very high standard. Breakfast is the most heartwarming home-cooked meal.
The hosts are seasoned in the hospitality business, and it truly shows. The highest hospitality standards coupled with a warm family feel - picture perfect.

My husband and I stayed at this charming bed and breakfast for three nights in early July. Heather and Rick were the perfect hosts! Everything was so clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the view of the lake and its proximity to the beach and the main street of town! The breakfasts were delicious and so perfectly presented... we felt very spoiled! This was the first time we have ever stayed at a B&B and it did not disappoint. We also loved getting to know Heather and Rick... we would love to come back someday to their beautiful home!

We had sold our RV so we stayed here to kayak in Schroon. What a wonderful surprise. This was a great experience, start to finish. Rick and Heather are gracious hosts. The breakfast was delish! Not to mention all of the nibbles and homemade cookies available throughout the day. We'd definitely stay with them again.

Our first stay and already booked to return in August! The location is ideal, gorgeous views of Schroon Lake, and we were able to very easily walk up to the main street for dinner last night.
The beds were very comfortable and the rooms furnished perfectly. Blackout curtains, conveniently located lighting, and ceiling fans (which I loved because sleeping to a running fan is ideal for me!).

Rick and Heather are wonderful welcoming hosts, and the breakfast this morning was delightfully delicious and beyond my expectations. Especially after years of hotel breakfasts. This was truly a genuine treat to stay overnight in our travels and anytime we head to the Schroon Lake region will be our top choice for booking!

My husband and I had a great experience staying at Loch House Inn. The hosts, Heather and Rick, were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Heather prepared a lovely gourmet breakfast spread with quiche, bacon, hash browns, a glazed cinnamon roll, and fresh fruit. It was delicious! We stayed in the Leland room and it was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and they even had nice robes! The room was stocked with toiletries and generous amount of towels. Lastly, the location was great! You could walk to the lake, coffee shops, and restaurants. If you forget anything, there is a Tops Supermarket less than a 5 minute walk away. If we find ourselves in the area again, we would definitely stay at the Loch House Inn again!

The owners are wonderfully gracious. The breakfasts are exquisite. The rooms are immaculate. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The location is unbeatable. I highly recommend this haven to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful, accommodating stay in the heart of Schroon Lake.

From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we felt loved at The Loch House Inn.

We arrived in the evening to the cheerfully lit home, warm cookies and hot tea. Heather and Rick are extraordinary hosts in their beautiful home. We stayed 3 nights and were served the most fabulous breakfasts…warm, homemade scones, quiche, herb omelette, fresh fruit and excellent coffee with a view of Schroon Lake! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was blissfully quiet. With just a few steps, we could walk to the friendly town and to the lake. Each day we ventured out to the trails and vistas of the great Adirondack Park.
We highly recommend The Loch House Inn and will definitely be back !

Heather & Rich have been gracious host, extremely hospitable. Home is cozy, location is spectacular, it's within walking distance to everything. Gorgeous flower garden and view of the lake.

My 10 years old daughter especially loved her nightly popcorn and hot chocolate. Jayla felt right at home with the nice big popcorn bowl😊!

We were greeted by our host at the door, we felted welcome and part of an instant family. We had a tour of the Inn and I must say that this B&B is exquisite, the attention to details is most remarkable. Thank you for the experience and special thanks for the delicious breakfast.

Rick and Heather are wonderful hosts. The house is adorable, the breakfasts were delicious and the location is perfect. Both my daughter and I slept great. Rick and Heather recommended great places for dinner and great hiking trails. You can see the lake from the house and its an easy walk to the water and to the cute downtown. Can't wait to go back!

We loved our stay at the Loch House! The hosts were welcoming and communicative. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was quiet, but located within walking distance to the public beach and town that has shops and restaurants. We cannot express in words how fantastic the breakfast was in the morning! We loved being able to have breakfast that included a view of the lake and great conversation! We will definitely be returning in the future, we felt right at home at the Loch House!
