Short easy hike with a great view of loon lake. Particularly pretty during the fall. The hike can get slippery after or during rain. The uphill accent isn’t difficult and the trail is short. About half a mile in and half a mile out. The trail has markers for you to follow.

Great, short, hike with a beautiful view at the end! However, a bit of a struggle for our little ones. We took our 3, 4, and 5 year old and it was a bit steep in some areas for them. Was also wet when we went so it was slipperier than normal.

Easy to find, short pleasant walk. Pretty outlook for little to no effort! Good for all ages and hiking experience.

One of the easier trails in the Chester Adirondack area, it's a nice little trail a great reward-to-effort ratio for when you get to the top. There aren't too many mountains where you can walk this little and get such a great view.

So easy and walkable in 10-15 minutes 1 way. Hardly any incline, easy terrain. Nice quick stop to stretch out the legs. Nice view

Very easy hike with a nice view of Loon lake. There is a little steepness in the middle, but it would be a great hike for those wanting to get outdoors with the family or just get back out there.

The hike was short (about .8 miles round trip) with little elevation gain (about 180 feet). It was a great 1 hour hike with my 2 year old and 4 year old. Good views from the top.

This was a great short winter snowshoe hike! Went with four kids ages 4 - 10 and they all managed it without much trouble. There's a lovely little view from the top. The parking area was not plowed (at least on the day I was there) so use with caution.

A great easy hike. It took us 15 mins to get to the top with a 4 year old and a woman with a bad knee. The view is nice over looking loon lake, and the foot traffic moves quick to catch the best view.

Great area for a quick hike the elevation is only 1200 feet so it’s not that big and the paths are beautiful and at the top you have a great view of loon lake however they are very strict about having fires and going of the path so make shore you read the rules and regulations at the front also there are not many parking spaces
