Very busy but seated right away. Fast service and waitress very attentive. We all had same meal and it was delicious. Fries crispy, fried haddock delicious. Highly recommend. Do not take reservations unless a large party so expect a wait on busy nights. Well worth it.

This restaurant was better than expected. The food was awesome. Our waitress was awesome and the overall price wasn't bad. We had their bang bang shrimp which is absolutely off the hook, the soup of the day which had three different roasted meats in it was to die for. I have the roasted duck with rice pilaf and steamed carrots. Delicious! My duck was fresh, juicy, and tender. It was great. Skin wasn't as crispy as I like but overall the dish was delicious. Hope you had the jambalaya which was okay. It's the East Coast version of the southern version. So. For dessert, we had the lemon berry mascarpone cake. Oh my goodness. And even the coffee was good. We went back the next day.

I discovered this place for the first time a year ago. It is tucked away in a small town next a pretty lake. The food is very good and the prices are fair. There will be leftovers to bring home with you. The people are very nice.

Finally !! stopped after going by many times & sure glad we did. Deserves more then 5 stars !
Waitress was friendly & attentive. We started with cocktails & French onion soup - rich broth, not to salty.
I had Seafood Stuffed Portobello - stuffing was so tasty ( not the usual seafood stuffing , chef was creative with this one)served with 4 nice size jumbo shrimp, which came with rice pilaf with a hint of lemon .Sauce was delicious. My husband had Pub Battered Fried Haddock crispy golden fried . He said fish tasted fresh & delicious. Both entrees came with bread basket & salad.
Will we be returning … you bet we will. Next time we are in the Adirondacks !!!!

Fantastic dinner, great service and comfortable atmosphere. Really impressed how friendly the staff is. Visited twice during the weekend. Had a Prime Rib the first night and the Filet the next. Delicious.

I have eaten here for years and is always great food. I love the cedar plank salmon dish. The cedar adds a nice touch of flavor. The sauce they put on is great too. Often come here with the larger family. Staff are very friendly and competent. Potato skins are great too! Love the Peppercorn Parmesan salad dressing too. All home made.

My group and I had dinner here earlier this evening and I couldn't have been more impressed. Being a restaurant cook in both fine dining and casual eating for over 20 years, I consider myself pretty much an expert at judging the quality of a dining experience. Both the food and the service were off the charts. The server Nicole was exceptional. She worked her tables with incredible efficiency, not a movement wasted. The owner also made a point to make sure we were happy with the experience. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem.

We were so grateful the restaurant was open. We were driving across New York and couldn't find an open restaurant. The service was caring. The food was delicious

Great place in the ADK’s ! Food was excellent ! Pumpkin martinis were excellent great fall drink ! Service was ok ! Unfortunately are lady server was all over the place ! Still a must stop if in the area!

What a surprise,we loved it. My wife had the NY strip steak, perfect. I had the special Kipps mountain BBQ sandwich. The atmosphere was a great local vibe.

My family and I ate here tonight for the first time and had a great experience. The building is adorable and the ambience feels like you are in a Swiss ski chalet. You enter through the bar, which is warm and inviting and owner/manager greeted us warmly and immediately seated us. Our server was great and very nice to our 2 young sons. Everything we ordered was great and the service was outstanding. We’ve been skiing at Gore for a few years and have yet to find too many favorite restaurants. This one is definitely worth the 15 min drive from where we stay for the nice atmosphere and delicious food. We’ll definitely be back!

Friendly staff. Good drinks. Loved the duck entree! There is a ramp for easier entry/ exit, if needed. Would recommend half portion of the spinach salad as it was huge & add hard boiled egg slices to it. The walleye sandwich was great!

Such a great place to go, never disappoints and they even made me a special dish when I asked!! Thank you!! Shelby our waitress was absolutely delightful, more than accommodating and attentive!! Dining room is seperate feom the bar which I peraonally enjoy the atmosphere is perfect.

Great food and great staff. Decor transports you back to the Adirondacks of the 60's, not in a bad way, though. If you're in the area, consider this as a must try spot.

Great Bar and Grill. Best burger I've had in a long time. We came with a large group and they accommodated us in the "Looney Bin" which is the awesome private party room down stairs. Staff is awesome. Owner checked in on us multiple times and was great. Highly recommend O P Frederick's!

OP Frederick's is recommended to us by a friend so we decided to give it a try. The first thing that we noticed going in was it had a real old fashioned lake feel, which brings back a lot of memories from my childhood. The service was good, the servers were friendly and attentibe. My wife ordered the maple glazed salmon which she loved. It was a nice piece of salmon with a good sauce. I got the breaded haddock and it was excellent. They advertised it as beer pattern and sometimes they batter it too much but this was perfect. It was a good size pizza fish and very tasty. Our only complaint was at the rolls that they served were small and nothing special. But overall It was an excellent meal.

Pleasantly surprised! They had a great variety on their menu, without it being overwhelmingly large. They were unexpectedly busy with a large party, & they handled it all wonderfully. The bartender served our table of 6 (I'm sorry that I didn't get her name) & she was on point. Even with the large party ahead of us (of about 20 or more ladies) our food came out quickly, hot, & delicious. We all loved our meals & had a great time. Highly recommend!!!
