Amavida Donuts

We were not sure what to expect but absolutely loved these donuts. They were layered donuts which are some of our favorites! We tried and assortment, sprinkled, beach donut, chocolate, strawberry shortcake, pina colada (not pictured) and the plain glazed. The strawberry shortcake was filled with a strawberry jelly and was our favorite. They are super sweet and sugary so watch out! We will be adding this to a must stop on each vacation.

This little yellow truck is the best idea Amavida has had in years. They pioneered a similar idea several years ago with a bike cart that sold nitro cold brew and espresso shots. And now the fully realized “side hustle” is a cute donut truck that sells tasteful pastries to accompany your delicious coffee. At first thought, it might seem like you just have to wait in two lines instead of one, but the idea is really to separate the customers who want coffee from those who want breakfast, as one of their largest problems in the past was extremely long lines. I’m happy to say the donuts don’t disappoint, I recommend swinging by this iconic stop when you visit seaside!

Had the Strawberry shortcake donut. You can always tell a good donut when the best part of the donut was the cake.
