Good staff and quick help and resolution of my needs.

Everyone was nice and friendly.

Denison Schools do not care about your child or their education at all. I had an issue involving my child and the school. Even spoke with the superintendent, Dr. Gilbert, who did not seem to care at all and just brushed the issue off like it was no concern of his. He clearly did not care. Seems like the only reason they want you to enroll is for the money they are constantly asking for from the parents as well as the students. This is the first year my children have ever attended DISD, and I would not recommend anyone getting their children enrolled here. I've spoken with other parents who share the same opinions and are not satisfied with how DISD treats their children. My children will only finish out this school year because I refuse to change schools mid year, but next year, they WILL not be attending DISD. I am sad that I feel this way . It is a major disappointment because my children and I had such high expectations for DISD.
I will say that some of the teachers are great with children and do care.
However, DISD as a whole does not care about your children.

Stay away if you desire a service job here. They are micro managing bulldogs with high employee turnover.

You need a special page for information on voting and locations. We are new to the area and it does not say what precinct number and the address.
