Mom's Cafe

Great food and service. People do not realise there are two different buildings. One is smoking (left door) and one is non smoking (right door). The waitress will cash you out if you're in the non smoking section. No need to have to go between. I've ate in both sides, both fitting and enjoyable.

The atmosphere was pleasant and the owner Susan was our server.

By fare they have the best breakfast in the area. Don't be confused by Google maps the gourmet waffle shop doesn't compare not even close

This is the only restaurant that you can enjoy a cigarette with your coffee ☕ in the area. Fyi the coffee was great too 🙂
they also have a separate 🚭non-smoking room just for those who rather not. enjoy 😊

Great home cooked breakfast and lunch! Locally owned and the food taste like home. To top it all off they even have homemade fried pies!!! They close at 2pm and aren't open on Sundays, so make sure to check them out when you can!

Great food and service. Smoky environment. Totally didn't even know smoking was legal anywhere in Texas. But the food was just amazing. They do have a no smoke section. But you can still smell it all the way from other side of restaurant. We had Salmon patty and it was nice me of the best home cooked meals in a really cool environment.

Love this place eat there at least once a week. Great burgers good home cooking.

First time dining in this quaint place. Was warmly welcomed in this mariner styled atmospheric family owned café. Food portions are massive and fairly priced! Ordered the Mom's Kitchen Sink omelette and the Chicken Fried Steak w/ eggs. Got a freshly baked cherry cobbler to go along with the leftovers! Really enjoyed our time here and always make sure you support your local family owned small businesses!

Love this place! The ONLY restaurant left in Sherman Denison and Pittsboro Thai you can still smoke in or not😁

No nonsense, tasty hometown eats. Great friendly folks and "mom" making your meal in the kitchen. Tasty home cooking! Great after a day of fishing on the lake ! ☺ Thanks, Mom!

Just a old fashioned cafe. The service was excellent. The breakfast was your typical items but all were all good and cooked to order. lots of neat decorations. I found it odd that the smoking section seems to be in the main room where you enter. We did not go in the non smoking room since no one was smoking and the smoking area was clean. Would definitely recommend for breakfast and they had a burger special on Wednesday that looked like a bargain and lunch specials as well. Will have to return and check it out.

Stopped in for breakfast (4/30/22) before going to grandson's recital.

The staff was very friendly and the food was well worth the money.
Everything was delicious. Look forward to my next visit.

We love this place! The food is good and reasonably priced. And the staff is always so friendly. It's sad that these home-cooked "mom & pop" cafes are such a rarity these days. The only complaint I have is that they aren't open Sunday! When deciding where to go for lunch after church someone always says "let's go to Moms" and then we remember they aren't open...

They team is really good and fast service its a place I would recommend to everyone hands down

I came in for my first visit to place a to go order. The lady that took my order helped me figure out the best way to order. She offered me a cup of coffee while i wanted. She provided me a paper menu to bring home for future orders. The food was good i had the breakfast taco it was a large portion and tasted great. My kids had pancakes with bacon and ate every bite.

This is a neat restaurant with friendly people. It's not a huge place which makes to homey. It is split into 2 separate restaurants - 1 smoking n 1 non-smoking. I ate in the non-smoking section. Had breakfast and it was very good. The bacon is thick and crispy. Biscuits and gravy are delicious. Fyi if you go to the restroom, be prepared that it is a little small with a washer/dryer combination in it. The painted walls are very cute. Hope to be able to go back there.

We went for a late breakfast, but i had to try the chicken fried steak. It was fantastic. The service was fast and friendly and the prices are very affordable. This will be a place we go often. If you're looking for a great home cooked meal and atmosphere this is the place that you want to go.
