Hungarian Meat Market

We were so impressed with the variety offered at the Hungarian Meat Market! Being Polish, it’s great to know of a market where I can find authentic meats and Eastern European goods. Lazlo was great and clearly very passionate about his business!

Best smoked meats in Fairfield County! Old school store, nothing updated nor flashy, no bells and whistles.. just excellent products every single time. If you love kielbasa, bacon, frankfurters, Canadian bacon.. this is your market! I tried the home made sauerkraut and it did not disappoint! Good service from behind the counter too. Highly recommend!

Hurka there is the best just like in Budapest. Paprika is also very good. Drive over an hour to get my supplies. Well worth the drive.

Love this little store in Fairfield. Great meats and other Hungarian specialties. Double smoked bacon is what keeps me going back.

FRESH cold cuts, freshly made Hungarian hamburgers, kolbasz, links & bread. Super clean store with amazing variety.

Great little market. Butcher makes his own sausages,frank's, bacon, etc. Lots of Hungarian canned foods, fresh paprika, breads. Best keilbasza, his own as well as Bende. Dont pass this place up if you like meat and authentic foods. I make a point to stop whenever I'm in Fairfield. Not too many places like this left.

For years I went to this place when it was on the upper east side to buy their deep fried pork rind/bacon. This stuff is addictive. When they closed, I was so disappointed. Then I found out they opened in Connecticut and they ship! I immediately ordered my favorite deep fried bacon. Ii can't wait till it arrives.

This is the place for authentic, delicious kielbasi, country style, or any type you desire! The poppyseed bread is wonderful. Jams and spreads and many other fine foods are available- I will return.

Visiting the Hungarian Meat Market has been a tradition in my family since my grandparents immigrated here in 1956. Four generations have carried on holiday traditions with delicious sausage and spices from the market. The holiday treats are a sweet reminder of my heritage. I wouldn't go anywhere else ❤

This place is so legit! I've been shopping here for over 10 years, anytime I'm visiting NYC I make a point of stopping here on the way back north (I live 5 hours away). The dried sausage spicy or regular is the most amazing thing ever.

We've been shopping here for at least 12 years, starting with their old Manhattan location and now whenever we are in CT we make a point of stopping by. We recommend the biscuits, fried pork rinds, fried duck skin ( when they have it ), meatloaf, dry sausages, poppy seed pastry. And this is just a fraction of the good things they have at the store. And it's always a treat to see Laszlo himself.

Fabulously delicious authentic Hungarian fare, great quality, wide selection, reasonable prices and fantastic service. It doesn't get any better than this unless you go to Budapest - and maybe not even then.

Lazo I believe is his name was beyond generous giving my husband and I samples as it was our first time there. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted better bologna. The sausages and kielbasa are delicious. Will be going back here very soon

If your Hungarian or Not this is the place to go...they have alot of products and fresh meats...you can also find your Hungarian spices...I was raised 💯 % Hungarian and they have all the fantastic food and sweets I grew up with...I'm first generation American...you guys Rock...Happy New Year!!!

I got kolache nut roll and poppy seed roll. I like it, they are very tasty. Glad they make it there. This is Holiday staples.
