This is the place to go if you're looking for a solid EDC knife, a new wood axe, or you just need your blades sharpened. There's a pretty good selection inside the store and they're happy to order something if they don't have it in stock. There are a handful of budget options available if you need one, too. Linnea was helpful and patient, and she helped me select a knife that I was happy with.

The owner was great! Called and asked about a knife, she was very helpful with everything l, and held the knife till I could drive up and take a look.
I was blown away seeing all the high end knifes that you only get to see online and actually getting to lay hands on them. Will definitely only be buying my knifes from them.

The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable, ready to answer any questions you have, and experienced enough to recommend the perfect blade for whatever tasks you intend to use it for. They offer in-store expert sharpening twice a week at a very reasonable rate to make sure you get the most out of your investment, and are definitely the best shop in the area if you are serious about your knives.

I came in on 11/15/22 searching for a very specific Microtech. I’m not sure the name of who helped me, he had long hair and painted nails. He was extremely helpful and I cannot say any ways he could have done a better job. He even said he would request to get that specific knife for me next order they put in and he would call me. Will 100% be purchasing from you guys, wonderful customer service

One of the few remaining legitimate "knife stores" around. None of those $10 oriental gift shop wall-ornament knives, these are the real deal for people who actually rely on their knives to get things done. Great, knowledgeable staff, solid variety of brands. Glad to see a shop like getting its due praise.

I had a fabulous time shopping for a knife for my Son for X mas. The owner helped me find everything I wanted in a first tactical knife, for the price point that I really needed.
The store has the nicest , highest quality and populiar inventory I’ve seen.

Largest selection of knives I have ever seen in my life! They have knives for hunting, fishing, camping, survival, tactical and yes a great selection of knives for the kitchen. Staff is great, they spend time with you, answer your questions and have a vast knowledge to help you make a wise decision when you buy. I also took several knives to be sharpened, WOW, they did an outstanding job. I highly recommend them!

I was on my honeymoon from Lancaster, PA and wanted to get a knife to commemorate the occasion. I visited multiple stores including big box stores to get a knife I wanted. After being disappointed in every one, I saw on google maps this store. Checked some of the pictures and knew I had to stop in. After driving 20 minutes off our route to stop in, I was super impressed with what I saw. I expected a small hole in the wall store with maybe the easy to get big brands, but was surprised to see other brands like heretic, Medford, and Chris Reeve. I expected a quick trip in to buy a knife, and spent an hour talking about knives and life with the staff there. They were showing multiple knives and were super helpful and polite. I’ve never had a knife experience like this, and have a new standard for what a knife store should be. I will now be coming to their website first when I look for a new knife. Best. Knife. Store. This is my first purchase from CastleGate. I ordered a CRK Umnumzaan on 16Dec2022. Not only did they ship the package in a good amount of time (considering it is a very busy time of year) a couple days after I received the knife, I received a phone call from CastleGate and spoke with a woman who wanted to confirm I got the knife and to make sure I enjoyed the product! Outstanding customer service and I will be shopping here again in the future without a doubt.

Huge fan of this knife store. They carry all the top brands and introduced us to some excellent less known brands. Happy to have a new spot to visit while we are in the Denver area! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The shop is huge! Folding, fixed blade, and kitchen series.

I visited today with a general idea of what I wanted and purchased a Microtech UTX-85. Excellent buying experience. Their in-store prices are totally competitive with the online market. Really cool shop with a great selection of entry level and premium knives. The gentleman working the counter was really accommodating and cool to talk blades with.

The folks here are genuine. A nice selection of low to high end quality blades, providing satisfactory choices for most budgets. Proudly supporting Colorado made knives along side well known knife makers. Surely a place to visit if you like knives at all, get out of your dot Com and into your car!

Im not kidding when I say this, but this is the nicest knife shop Ive ever stepped foot in. Very large selection of knives ranging from common knives to blades that Ive never even heard of. Everything there is high quality including their own brand. Great staff and definitely worth your while to check out. Oh and great prices too same prices you can find online if not cheaper. And its also nice to be able to hold the knife before you buy it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves blades.

I went into the store for the first time today, it was an amazing experience. The man that helped me choose a knife led me to a brand that I now love, and helped me save about 100 dollars. They have an amazing selection with many choices. Their bench benchmade selection is one of the best I could find in colorado. They even sell camping tools aswell if that's what you're looking for. I will definitely be coming back and will recommend them to anyone looking for a good knife. Check this place out.

Awesome place to find a quality knife, there aren’t that many brick and mortar knife stores where you can go in to a facility and get a true feel for a knife before you buy. This is a very clean and organized facility with knowledgeable staff from what I can tell so far, I have purchased a couple knives from them so far and will continue to buy from them in the future. The only downside is that they are located far away from me.

Amazing selection of knives, some hard to find like Microtech. The owner and staff are great too, friendly and I’ve never get pressured to buy. I regularly drive from Denver to visit. You must go!
