My mother's lived in MN for over a decade & has always had difficulty finding Puerto Rican ingredients around her, so when I said I was coming to visit, she asked that I bring as many items as I could. Instead I did some searching online & found this gem. Tons of fresh & frozen specialty items from taro root to bacalao, and the entire staff was friendly & welcoming. My mom is super excited to make all her favorite dishes now!

Galaxy's own hot sauce is some of the best I've ever had. I brought some back home (Europe) a couple of years ago and it's just finishing. Don't know what I'm going to do without it! Seriously hot and with fabulous flavour.

As a Jamaican, I’m glad I found this place (glad bag buss ya now enuh!). This place has enough to enjoy home away from home. The price is decent and worth the trip if you looking for some authentic Jamaica and other foods. Definitely will be my go to place for now on!

A pretty good spot if you want to get Jamaican spices and pretty much Jamaican or Caribbean spices and and products there's a meat area as well roti and there's a little restaurant area oh! there's a nice Indian clothing section as well. Price wise is a little bit high but not crazy but it's not a surprise it's a small Mom and Pop shop

This store is fantastic! My husband is from Antigua and he doesn't get the opportunity to eat a lot of West Indian cuisine in Minnesota. We come here a couple of times per year to stock up on beef patties, roti, curry spices, jerk seasoning, and salt fish. Between that, and the one or two times per year that we head to NY or FL to see his family, he has a happy tummy. :) Thank you so much for bringing a taste of home to our family in Minnesota!

Such a wonderful part of Richfield! Galaxy foods had reasonably priced groceries, produce, hot foods, and even household products. The owners are also so sweet.

This place reminds me of back home things that I remember having as a child I can find it here it is always clean. The products and other grocery items always fresh the truly do their best to have a lot of the same things that you would find back home down in the Caribbean and Guyana. Every time I walk into this grocery store it gives me a warm feeling of being back home sometimes even though I may not not need something I will still stop in just to say hello Just like people would do back home. Ramona is always very helpful and cheerful

Definitely my Go-To spot for Caribbean/Guyanese grocery and fresh bread + fish. Family owned business that I've faithfully shopped at for the past 20+ years. Highly recommend! Worth the drive to Richfield.

Stopped in for some Matouk's hot sauce and walked out with a great lunch from the ladies at The Best of Both Worlds, Princess and Jameela. So good! Will definitely be going back to try more dishes. And to get more hot sauce.

Wow excellent source for Caribbean spices. Very reasonably priced to boot. Galaxy is now on my go to foodie grocery store list.

Simply awesome! My wife has been looking for a taste of her homeland and here it is! Everything a Trini needs to have some real home style meals.

I love buying my matouk's calypso and trinidad scorpion sauce. Haven't found any other place that carries them. The store owners are very nice as well!

Wide selection of products. Cashier was very kind. Found everything and more of what I was looking for.

Love their goat meat!!!! They have a lot of Caribbean spices to choose from and other items that you can't get at the other grocery stores.
