Absolutely love coming here with my stepdad. The food they prepare is always so good and worth the value they sell it for. Always try to come here when we have time. The store is usually very well stocked as well.

Perfect for your immediate needs , produce is always fresh , friendly and kind service , the crushed ice is the best !!! Overall I can appreciate the real produce and vegetables !!! 10/10

Staff was friendly, store was clean, well stocked, Meats are fresh prices are reasonable.some pantry and fresh vegetables are priced high, milk and other dairy also too high. They also have fast food services. Garnitas are excellent.

They may not always have everything in stock by I ALWAYS get good produce!!! Totally worth the time saved!!!

I don't give too many places 5 stars. But this fixture in the harbor of East Chicago is great place to go get tacos and whatever groceries you need if you're cooking Mexican food. I'll keep going there. I love this place

Love there steak tacos and gorditas my absolute favorite taco place to go to hands down👍😍🤤. The cooks in there are always polite and make my food with so much love. Not only fuerte sells food but it's a meat market/ grocery store. All in one store you can't beat that...let's not forget they sell crush ice and it's so yummy.

Man, I love this place Their meat is fresh! Plus, I love their wings, they are small and not expensive to me. I just really like the store.

Nice atmosphere good shopping experience there. They have a small restaurant there with great food. The most important thing is there friendly atmosphere.

East Chicago lacks a variety of grocery stores, but Fuerte market makes up for this. They have a good selection of fruits and meats at good prices. you could always get something hot to eat also while there. Tacos, burritos, etc. Also, the selection of Latin products is better than any other store in the area.

Fuerte is what you expect when shopping for Hispanic foods. Their customer service is the best. The products are fresh & the butcher part where you can get what you want & as little or as much you want. Fuerte is the best in the Harbor area...guaranteed!!! I live in Griffith but go all the way to E.C.shop at Fuerte!

The food is delicious is yum yum it tastes like Mom or Dad's cooked it long time ago back in the olden days and Grandma Grandma and Grandpa and Mama and Daddy got in that kitchen and cooked it tastes delicious that's yum yum brought to you by latrice Sanders the food is delicious go pick you some up on Broadway

Deals Deals Deals! Clean which is my favorite thing and employees wearing masks is what makes or breaks a store for me. Felt like normal here even with the mask's on faces.
