If I could pick a role model for life, it would be Ed Currie. He is kind, generous, giving, and wildly dedicated. He lives life with gratitude and generosity. His business aligns with these principles and I’m so glad I got to experience the PuckerButt hospitality today. He’s a personal icon for me and naturally I’m a massive fan. I got to taste the hot sauces and choose some new favorites to take home. Thank you to the Currie family for putting the Carolinas on the map for pepper growing and hot sauce making prowess. Five star experience at the shop today. Go check this place out!

The employees inside were very helpful in finding what I was looking for and ever offered a few suggestions I did not know about. I love spicy sauces and they have everything you could need. Some pretty cool merch inside as well. Feel free to ask for a sample and they will definitely accommodate. This is my new favorite spot for buying hot sauces.

Nice spot on main street with an incredible selection of hot sauces. Great service and good prices. Be careful with the Carolina Reaper and Pepper X sauces, they do not mess around but are absolutely delicious if you have the tolerance

This store has the biggest selection of hot sauces I have ever seen. Everyone is super cool here and they let you sample the sauces. They have everything from very mild to insanely hot. I really love this place .

Came here today with my buddy Bill and my fiance Melody. Very nice store, my friend Bill bought some sauces to get shipped, the man working the counter was very nice and I love the fact my town has such a cool place like this here!

My wife stopped by here on a work trip, and brought me home the special reserve superhot 5-pack of Ed’s very own sauces. It’s obvious he really loves these peppers more than anything. They really rank up with the best of the best sauces for me, as I prefer my sauce to be thick, and taste like the main ingredient, which should always be a pepper. And they are quite hot so make sure you work up to these before diving in. When these run out I will be ordering more. Fantastic.

Love their products! I ordered some seeds from them last spring, and they have done amazing. Very spicy and fun to grow!

I love myself some hot and spicy things. So when I came to Charlotte this time a relative had mentioned this place. I felt like a kid in a candy store! The staff which I believe is family owned was so friendly and helpful! I purchased the hottest sauce they had. Ummm I haven't tried it yet but I have my fire extinguisher handy when I do!!

Even though they opened at 10:00a instead of 9:00a as maps says, the staff was extremely helpful. I got to sample several hot sauces and they were having a sale. I can’t remember how much, but I was able to get an extra bottle and still beat much budget. There stuff is hotter than average in my opinion, but the store is laid out very logically. One side has sauces from companies they support or collaborate with and the other is all their own sauces. They are arranged from left to right starting low heat to the extreme stuff near the counter.

The Pepper X table sauce is phenomenal! Incredible flavor with a bang! I will be ordering again soon!

Super helpful staff! They had a wide variety of seeds for us to choose from. We also were able to get some samples to best decide which to get. I'm glad I went in person instead of just ordering online!

Awesome experience here. My boyfriend and I have been preparing our taste buds and increasing our spice tolerance to come here. We drove an hour and a half to come and get some pepper x sauce and to see the people who have contributed to the Carolina reaper. We ended up spending about $50 and got several hot sauces and spicy chocolate. They included a small gift for my boyfriend since he spent the most and he was so happy about the gift; it was a souvenir journal :) This was a well worth it trip and we will be sure to come back!

A must stop for any chili fan.
Great team and friendly reception. I bought Reaper Seeds 🔥of course. pro tip: buy the original; you know what you are getting and supporting the team to keep developing new varieties. A hat and T-Shirt rounded off the purchase and I was gifted with stickers, a bag, pen..and a photo with the lovely lady Bella.

Lots and lots of hot sauces and other hot novelty items. Including sauces made from the world hottest peppers. Though there are a lot of tasty more mild options.

What a delightful experience! Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about their products, and weren't pushy or trying to egg you on to try hotter sauces than you can handle. Prices are friendly as well - and it's tempting to pick up more than you can reasonably use in a few months' time!

Great service and communication about my online order. I ordered three bottles of Pepper X salsa and it delivered efficiently. And the salsa tastes amazing to boot!

Everybody here is so kind and helpful. I watch Ed on YouTube and he's a genuine person that cares for people. Great business, fantastic products... I've been so impressed by their service and integrity!

Finally I had the opportunity to check out this legendary place!! If you're into hot sauces, this is the mecca of the Carolina Reaper and you definitely need to go there! They also do samples, so you'll know exactly what you buy😎

Unfortunately Ed wasn't there, but you can feel his passion for hot sauces just by standing there, and of course when trying the different carolina reaper sauces 🥵

Not for the faint of heart. This stuff is seriously deadly. Painfully hot. If you have taste buds and want to keep them, don't bother. If you have someone on your list that needs a wake-up, get some powder and give them a dusting. Not for children. Not for animals or pets. Not for anyone with cardiac or respiratory issues. Not for women pregnant or nursing. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Do not rub eyes or other sensitive areas. Have milk on hand before consuming. Do not use alone. Test on a small area before applying to a larger area. Use in small doses. There are better ways to prove your manhood. There are less painful ways to die.

On the other hand, my mother would have loved this place. Super wide variety of products with which to assault your senses.

The whole puckerbuttpeppercompany crew is great they make you feel like family and ed is just the guy everybody should meet he would give someone the shirt off of his back if someone needed it the I think ed gives more product away than he sells because ed is just that kind of person I could only rate out of 5 Starz but these guys deserve way more
