Food Lion

Food Lion Fort Mill is a very good representation of Food Lion as a Grocery chain. Great staff both in knowledge and helpfulness to their shoppers. Their shelves are always well stocked and orderly.
I would like to see more registers opened when they are busy, but they are quick. Big parking lot, and easy to get to.
But the best part are their great prices! Much much lower than the other food chains around here in the Charlotte area, with similar (same) quality name brands, just not as much of the jacking up in the prices. Very good meat department, though not a butcher that you can easily pick up something specific cut for you. There is a small Deli section and employees slicing meat for deli meats though. For Meat’s, what’s on the shelves is what you’ll get. Same for the seafood. Some people won’t shop Food Lion because it’s not “upscale enough” but that attitude is absurd. Food Lion is great!!!

I love this store. They are often cheaper than Walmart and without the lines. The staff are friendly and helpful. It honestly throws me off because I’m used to Walmart level service - which is not so great.

I visit Fort Mill frequently and travel a lot. This Food Lion is probably one of the best run and maintained stores I've seen. Everything is spotless, smells right, the staff are friendly and helpful, shelves are properly stocked and their produce and meat sections seem to be especially well done.

One of the nicest stores we've shopped at. Food Lion in Lancaster could learn from this one! Isles not crammed together & spacious checkout areas & NO small self checkout area. Won't use self checkout due to so small its hard to use plus no counter space.

This store is very clean. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Produce can be hit or miss.

Good bargains everyday. Fresh food and vegetables high quality. Easy access from hwy 160/460/521. Better deals, larger selections of fresh veggies and meats. Seeing suppliers providing SMALLER QTY and VOL at significantly HIGHER PRICING, also store locations increasing their branded products following the same pricing increases. Makes selective shopping around more prevent.

Store is big and clean. All of my items were in stock. I made a mess in the produce section and all of the associates were really sweet about it.

Always fast friendly service. I went there today got eight bags of potting soil and the young man that works there put it in my truck for me. The young man has long brown hair he has been there for a little while. He is a very good employee. Very kind and always eager to help. He has waited on me a couple of times before and he has always been very friendly and polite. You can tell he loves his job. Thank you very much for all of your help.

Shelves always stocked. Produce is always fresh & most importantly cashiers always open to get you in and out quick

It was awesome. The manager Kim Evens is awesome. I locked my keys in my car. Kim looked up locksmiths, let me use her phone when i needed it. She went way beyond the call of duty. Logan he also helped me. He let me use his phone when I needed it. He brought me a bottle of water while I was waiting for the locksmith. They are awesome

Food Lion is the best store around the Fort Mill area that offers good prices and great quality of selected meats. The customer service is good they don’t walk around bothering you but if you cross paths with an associate they will always greet you with smile and ask if you need help. That may not seem like a big deal but I have been in stores where employees have walked by without a simple acknowledgement. If you are looking for low prices, good quality and great customer service go there

I like this Food Lion. It's always clean, the shelves are stocked and faced (items are near the edge of shelf and label faces out), and there's almost always a register open with an employee standing by it offering to ring you out. They've also done very well with Covid prevention measures. I always see an employee wiping down carts and their checkout conveyor belts and card readers.

I do wish the bakery would make more sourdough bread. And I've seen one employee stocking without a mask which is unacceptable with so many elderly customers.

Food lion is really convenient and the staff is friendly. Walmart is just around the corner but Food Lion has my loyalty. They have everything I need and really good prices. They do a great job keep everything stocked and clean. I also never have a hard time finding good produce. Everything is always in really good shape and lasts.

This is a great Food Lion. I hate to go to any other one. The employees are all nice and helpful. They keep the lines moving like pros. I'm always in and out with no issues. Drive the extra mile to shop here. You won't regret it.

I live thus Food Lion! The employees are always friendly and helpful. The store is kept very clean, organized and stocked. Their produce is always fresh, I buy greens regularly they're so green and fresh every time!

The shop is quiet and calm. There are no crowds of people, all carts are disinfected. The hall is clean, the shelves are in order. There are always promotional items. The staff is polite and fast.
