Hobo's

This is a cute little spot with THE BEST fried green tomatoes I have ever had! I would definitely recommend trying the Philly cheese steak too! The inside seating is a bit chaotic with several tables placed directly in front of the door... But overall, this place is great.

We are here from western Tennessee visiting our son and daughter-in-law. We went to Hobo's last night for dinner.
The place is unique in several ways . It is located in an old brick corner building in downtown Fort Mill with ample parking in the back. (front and back entrance) The inside is nicely done with booths, tables, and counter seating available. The service is fast friendly and attentive. They have a great selection of top end pub food. Consisting of burgers, other sandwiches, salads, and specials. I had the pastrami Ruben, and my wife had the BLT. It had fried green tomatoes on it. Our son had the California burger, and our daughter-in-law law had a steak salad. All were prepared perfectly and presented well. All that and very reasonable! Hard to beat. Check it out!

Love the food! The Vagabond burger is my top favorite so far with Cajun fries & Cajun ranch. Still hoping to try to the milkshakes soon!

Lovely experience here, their menu looks great, only few places we get complete satisfaction of having complete food experience, since when we order dishes some of them will be hit or miss, but here all their dishes we tried tasted too good, living at fort mill for 5 years this was our first visit and we are already waiting for next visit, I also tried their house wine Cabernet and like it too, this place is in great location having indoor and outdoor seating options, we went on the Canon firing event at downtown July 2nd and was lucky to get our spots with the crowd gathering. Would highly recommend this place to friends and family for great food and experience. We tried their fish bites, buffalo shrimp, chicken wings with Cajun, lime and pepper dry rub, blackened salmon, kids chicken and fries, chicken taco.

My server ( I think her name was Alyssa maybe😬)was delightful. She was straightforward and spot-on about her recommendations. I ordered a fish sandwich. The food came out fresh and fast. The food portions are also super generous. Also, despite my table having 4 different special order waters ( no ice, with lemon; light ice, no lemon, etc.) along with additional requests, she got everything right. I'd definitely go back.

Every time I have a long drive anywhere I never really plan ahead on where to eat. It’s usually just some random fast food. I finally got tired of it all and checked Google Maps to see what each town offered along my route. It didn’t take long to find Hobo’s on the map and all the pictures had me sold. It’s just a few minutes off I-77 and even though there’s a parking lot behind the restaurant I had to park in the grass and pray I didn’t get a ticket. Prayer works. As soon as I was inside I knew it was the kind of place I was craving. As I was by myself, I took a seat at the bar and ordered a beer. Settling on one item on the menu was tougher than expected. Everything sounded good. Martin’s Melt, a patty melt with grilled mushrooms and onions on sourdough turned out to be an excellent choice. Portion size exceeded expectations and I was barely able to finish even my Cajun fries and garlic aioli. Hobo’s is exactly the kind of place every town needs and I plan on stopping again on my drive back to Georgia. If you’re a Fort Mill local, you already know Hobo’s. If you’re just passing through on a long drive though, this is THE place you need.

Visited over the weekend. The host staff was phenomenal. Very kind and all smiles. From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left there was great staff, great food (especially the pimento cheese fritters - which were served quickly and were delicious) and swift & friendly service. The young host who was taller with lots of curly, dark hair wished us a good night and thanked us for coming in. What a great night to catch up with people we haven’t been able to see in a long while! Thanks Hobo’s!!!

Excellent! We ordered the Locomotive burger and the Grown-up grilled cheese. Our server Natassia G was friendly and brought our food quickly. Highly recommend!

I'm not from around here but I'm visiting friends in the fort Mill area. We decided to go out for dinner and went to hobos. This place rocks.

They had a guy on the guitar who was really very good but more importantly let's get to the food.

First of all they have mother's milk. It is by far my favorite beer in the entire world ever. My friend had a 1893 whiskey sour. He seemed to enjoy it.

For dinner my son had 18 wings. He probably could have finished all 18 of them but we stopped him at about 12. He wished the sauce was a little bit hotter but the wings were plump and juicy.

My daughter had a cheeseburger what she said was cooked well and tasted really good.

My niece had a wedge salad. She was amazed that it still came in a wedge shape. We cut it up for her and all was good. I'm just kidding she really enjoyed it.

My wife had a pimento cheeseburger. I'll be honest I had no idea what pimento cheese cheeseburger was but I was afraid it was going to have olives in it. It didn't I wish they would just call it a red roasted pepper cheese then I would have devoured it. I tasted it it was delicious.

Now the greatest sandwich ever created in the world is there Chicken and waffles sandwich. It was so good. And their secret ingredient is they put bacon in their waffle batter. I could go for another one right now.

Now that the weather is getting warmer, a friend and I went to Hobo's in Fort Mill for lunch. We sat at the outside bar, and it is a cool venue. Hobo's has a fantastic selection of craft beers. We had a friendly bartender who gave us good service. I had the Philly cheesesteak with fries, and I really enjoyed it. Hobo's is a nice restaurant/bar, and I look forward to coming back.

The food was good and hot when brought out. I had a spiked Banana Foster's shake that was delicious while my husband had a Spiked Salted Caramel Shake. They were both gone to the bottom!!

Sooo convenient in my hometown!! Located in the old 5 and dime, also used to b a pharmacy when I was little too. I have seen sooo many places come and go on main street, Fort Mill, in my lifetime of living here. But, Hobo's has been there for quite some time now. Such good food and atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Plenty of parking in the back and live bands perform there as well.

Delicious maybe the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. The mac and cheese was delicious. Service was a bit slow to get our order in but once they took it our food came out fast. The burgers were good also. They serve a ton of fries. The outside patio is nice too. Its covered and has heaters. All in all it was great. I would definitely come back to try other things.

My husband and I split a burger and we both got drinks. The food was pretty good. On a Sunday afternoon, it was quiet and our service was good. One of our friends got a milkshake with alcohol. I want to go back to try a boozy milkshake next time!

We immensely enjoyed Hobo's!! Fantastic service, amazing food, and a great, fun atmosphere. I tried the buffalo chicken quesadilla with a root beer float, and it was delicious!! Everyone enjoyed their meals. Thank you, Phylicia, for a wonderful lunch experience. We'll be back when we're in the area!!

This is the best place to eat! It’s where my husband and I have the best date nights. We share the fried green tomatoes, steak salad and the garlic Parmesan wings. Today I had the salad made by Drew and our sweet waitress was Heather! Beautiful day to eat outside and the food was amazing!! Can’t say enough about the pickled red onions. I’m obsessed to say the least! Come eat here! It won’t disappoint. ❤

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere with live music outside. Fantastic service from the bar. I got the special fried pickles and a byo burger. The Cajun fries w/fry sauce were the hero in my opinion. Ask for the horseradish mayo and try the buttermilk fried bacon.

Today was my first time going to Hobo's and it was such a pleasant experience. The menu had so many options idk what to choose. I ended up choosing the Wanderer burger with fries. My order came out so fast that it caught me off guard. The burger is HUGE I couldn't eat it all in 1 sitting lol. And the fries are fresh cut and simply amazing. Tasted like my momma made em. This is definitely a spot I would recommend and come back to.
