Absolutely the best in customer service. These guys are very stand up individuals. They are willing to go the extra mile for your business. No smugness or attitude here, just very happy people ready to serve you and your needs, just as it should be. I have never been to a better shop than this.

I will spend every penny I have for my musical needs at this shop for as long as I can.

They have truly gone above and beyond for me, and I'm positive they would do the same for anyone else.

This Guitar Gallery as well as the location in Tuscaloosa are great spots. Most importantly it is friendly and welcoming. The staff are knowledgeable on the instrument and gear. This location isn’t as large as the Tuscaloosa one but anything at either one is transferable between then for free. Good hangout spot and a great selection of records.

Guitar Gallery is a music store that I highly recommend!! They buy and sell vinyl records and have a good selection of music instruments and equipment. They have many things that are budget friendly and will beat other store prices. I always used Sweetwater Sound for everything but now I have a store to go to that I like more than the others in my area. Trey and Nathan are very knowledgeable and friendly and will go the extra mile to assist you in most all things music related. They traded me a great deal on my old Fender Mustang GT100 (not the GTX) for the BOSS Katana100MK2...best amp trade I've ever made!! Definitely my "go to" music store for strings, cables, picks, pedals, etc.. They post a lot of items on the Guitar Gallery Instagram site, (maybe Facebook too but I don't use Facebook). Anyway, great store and great staff, check them out in Pelham! I plan to go to their store in Tuscaloosa when I'm there again. An easy 5-Stars!

What a great store. And the staff is about as friendly as it gets. Ok the selection of guitars isn't huge here but what they have is quality. Gems behind the counter. When i win the lottery this is one of my first stops. Vinyl too!!

I love these guys. Good conversation and honest dealing. I recently had an acoustic guitar action raised there and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend if you are a guitarist who just moved to the area like I did. Forget guitar center. These cats know their trade!

This is where I learned how to play guitar. Great place with good people. Bought my first guitar and amp there 18 years ago and they both still work today without a single repair.

Been coming here for more than 15 years, great shop. Every time I come in there's a whole new batch of stuff you won't find anywhere else. Plus they have fantastic customer service and are incredibly helpful.

This is one of my few go-to music instrument stores. I absolutely love this place.
Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and courteous and they have a great service, too. I bought quite few things from this store and they always make sure that their customers are satisfied - I bought a pedal that is made by a local boutique pedal builder and when it started to have issues (turned out to be just a very minor issue), they fixed it for free.
If you are looking for a great musical instrument store in Birmingham area, this is the place to go. I highly recommend this place!

I get all my setups and work done here. The technician, Jeff, is awesome at what he does and will take the time to give you a call with any questions concerning your instrument that may arise. Great selection of records and fair prices. Don’t waste your time up the road with the big box guitar shop. I’ve never had a bad experience shopping here. I can’t say that about many places.

First time using their business and I had a great experience. Brought my bass in and they did a great job at doing a setup. It hasn't sounded this good or played this well in a long time. Very friendly and a nice little shop. Definitely prefer going there than somewhere like Guitar Center. Go give them some business! They deserve it!

Great selection, not only of guitars, but amps, pedals, and vinyl. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, very courteous, and even offer to let you listen to any open vinyl that are there in the shop. I'll definitely be buying from these folks in the future and can't wait to check out their store in Tuscaloosa

I live in Atlanta and my elderly grandmother lives in Hoover. Visiting Grandma is my priority when I'm in town, obviously...but I do call ahead to plan my travel around Guitar Gallery's open hours!

Not your average customer tbh. I play banjo and already own my dream machine (a Mastertone), so it was cool to see that the few banjos they have are the new composite-material Gold Tone models.

Primary hype for me is their vinyl assortment. The bargain LPs I get are always in great condition, and even the vintage $5 albums have been graded and put in nice sleeves.

I prefer shopping local but that's not the only reason I shop with Guitar Gallery. The staff has always been helpful and provides solid advice.

Edit: still shopping here and still remains 5 star. Just got my 70s gibson dreadnought and martin acoustics worked on and they blow my mind how great they sound and feel now to play. Truly inspiring and I am so grateful for the quality of work.

Best guitar shop south of Hwy 280! Sweet record selection for punk, new wave, noise, and more. Helpful staff, who go above and beyond.
