I have used various pharmacies around Novato/San Rafael and I feel the staff at the Rite Aid in Novato have been the best I have worked with - especially since our Pharmacist Princess started working there. Princess is incredibly helpful and I really trust her with my medications...even when things are busy, Princess listens to my questions and always follows up. I have found the rest of the staff friendly, and I have recently talked to a technician named Nicholas a few times now and have been really impressed with his attention to detail and willingness to help. Five stars to the Novato Rite Aid team!

We think it’s the best pharmacy in Novato! We’ve always found their pharmacist and team to be helpful, polite and positive. Let’s try to be kind and patient in these times.

The folks in the pharmacy were super nice and accommodating. CVS had cancelled my Covid shot and would not have been able to travel without it! They were able to squeeze me in although they were closed!!! Thank you!!!

I go here to get all my prescriptions usually call up get them pre-ordered and pick them up with no problems and I have a lot of them Plus I can pick up my prescriptions at any Rite Aid which is nice

I am very happy with the pharmacy at Rite Aid in Novato. The pharmacist is always very helpful and is genuinely kind to the customers. He found out today that my daughter's date of birth was entered differently into the system but was able to fill the testing kits through our insurance. He told us to call the insurance afterwards to change her DOB. Saved me another trip and I was more than grateful. Thank you, Richard!

This is an addendum review to all the rite aid pharmacies: the online vaccine scheduling system and the real situation of each pharmacy doesn't match. My daughter has been to 2 different rite aid pharmacy twice recently, once was at Northgate and another in Novato. I scheduled 2 vaccines online and got confirmation on each occasion. However as we got there, we were told one or another is not in stock. Or it's one day too early to get the HPV vaccine. If you can't confirm the status of your storage, don't confirm it with the customer!

After years at another local pharmacy continually unable to come through with my family needs we made the switch to Rite Aid. We liked our other pharmacy staff just as well, but it was about having necessary items on hand when needed. We love Rite-Aid and their pharmacy staff. If you call ahead they always have it ready. If you have to wait, it isn't ever very long plus there's ice cream up front! Grab one of those it'll make the time go by like nothing :)

Personal and friendly service at the pharmacy. Was picking up for someone else
and I forgot his insurance card-they were willing to work with a texted photo of it. Prescriptions aren't ready lickety-split, but they are way faster than most Walgreens. Plus they have fun merchandise to shop besides the usual drug store stuff. Downside is their very limited hours. They don't open til 9 AM and close 9 PM, and that can be hard for people with intense day jobs.

I have to hand it to the nonjudgemental staff for just leaving me alone with my many coming-up-empty walk-ins for Lysol cleaner. I finally got one after at least 50 trips in while I've done Safeway trips etc. during the coronavirus pandemic. The way to find Lysol is to keep on looking.

Wanted to get ice cream but they were not open so had to get Klondike ice cream cones.

I like Rite Aid due to distance to home, the store is huge, clean, but...customer service needs working on. I deal with customer, and its good to always to acknowledge customer when arriving in store, when purchasing and paying. Looking at customer face to face shows your giving all your attention to them, show you care, and always welcome them to come back as they leave and thanking them for shopping at Rite Aide. May I say not all customer service is not pleasant well only one is totally awesome forgotten his name, but I remember his description. He has blue eyes and black curly hair, young man... Thank you for your great service.

This store is very large. A huge selection of the alcoholic beverages is available. Also, very nice decorations for your garden are here. This store was almost empty when i visited it. Overall, there was nothing else impressive except what i already wrote. As a result, it doesn't look like this store is very popular with customers.

The automated system for the Rite Aid Pharmacy to order refills doesnt work. I was all set to pick up medication at a set time but
I still had to wait over 15 minutes and there were 5 clerks behind the pharmacy counter! An arrogant clerk handling the register passed me over to assist someone else. I just had a question about automated ordering. I finally walked out . Pathetic service and very unprofessional at best...

I’m not sure what’s going on with the Rite Aid Pharmacy, I have an emergency situation. My doctor electronically sent meds to Rite Aid at 11 AM at 1 PM. I call and they said they’re not ready? And on top of that the pharmacist is going to lunch so your meds won’t be ready until 2 PM.
Please hire some more staff. I’ve been using Rite Aid for many years. This has been going on for the last two years. They are very unprofessional. My advice to anyone is go anywhere else, but Rite Aid in Novato.

Went in and asked about moving my medication to Rite Aid. I was refused because they can't handle what they have. We have no Pharmacy in Novato. It is sad that my dog gets better care than I get!

Worst rite aid pharmacy around, pharmacist was incredibly rude. Told me “it’s pretty early to be calling,” then when my doctor called she told him that she would not fill the prescription unless it was delivered electronically….
