Sidebar Cafe (Downtown Wilmington, DE)

Absolutely love this café. It is black owned by a family and everything about the experience will be personable. The owners are retired teachers, and they bring some beautiful teachings and habits, such as the adult stickers and emotional support plushies! They will make you feel at home and the food is wonderful especially for the price range. They have homemade sourdough products, very lovely smoothies, and so many other products that’s hard to get at places. They even have wrap alternatives such as a green and sun-dried tomato wraps. Would recommend anyone 10 out of 10!

If your looking for food that is delicious, has great portions and is affordable then this is the place to be. I've at here 2 times and everything I've had was amazing. This is my official go ro spot whenever I am in or passing through Delaware. What a hidden gem.

The staff and atmosphere at the Sidebar Cafe is truly wonderful! They are friendly, professional, accommodating and they treat every customer like a friend. They put a lot of love into everything they offer. The owners are great people with a passion for cooking and providing excellent products and service. The home-made pastries are a must!

If you are in the area, or heading into town, make a point to stop by the Sidebar Cafe for coffee, a smoothie, breakfast, lunch or a quick snack. Believe me you won't be disappointed!

My experience with this new company was so amazing food was delicious an to die for would be a great place to get breakfast or lunch was great environment lovely workers an great owner I hope you all continue to make everyones day by having great fast service

Very nice husband and wife run business. They are super accommodating for such a small place. I can't have dairy and they hooked me up with a dairy free smoothie and iced coffee. Avocado toast was good too. They also gave me a side of avocado for my infant.

I recently paid a visit to Sidebar Cafe. I ordered the shrimp stir fry and decided to wash it down with a strawberry banana smoothie. Both were amazingly delicious.
Somethings I think are worth mentioning
1. The ambience was beautiful
2. VERY clean environment
3. Very warm and welcoming
4. Tables are available to sit and enjoy lunch.
5. Very Affordable
6.The stir fry is definitely a must try!!

I work in the building which this establishment is in and I love how they are ready to take any feed back or suggestions to make you as a customer happy. I got the Italian Grinder today and it was amazing. I didn't think I would enjoy the veggies hot, but they talked me into it and I'm so glad they did. Great job and I will be back for more.

Had a fantastic breakfast sandwich this morning on a croissant. It was the best homemade style sandwich I've had in a long time. The prices were reasonable and affordable. I also had a build your own smoothie and the fruit was deliciously fresh and refreshing 😋. Thanks ill be coming back soon!

Had a delicious toasty grinder with Italian meats, cheese and spinach. It was made fresh and tasted amazing! Josh also whipped me up a custom made smoothie with my preferred ingredients (strawberry, banana, orange juice and yogurt). I wish I had opted for the larger size smoothie because that thing was gone within minutes.

This place is a welcomed addition to Market Street. The service was warm and friendly. The food came out quick and was delicious. I’m not a frequent coffee drinker, but the cold brew was so smooth. Not bitter at all. They’re utilizing every square foot they have to bring great food at a great price to Market Street.

I come into work once every two weeks & Sidebar Cafe has become my go to spot for breakfast & coffee in the morning. With a wide variety of options, a professional staff, & a welcoming feel… I can confidently say that I will be returning every other week for as long as I can. I love this place!!
