A little bit of heaven with a whole lot of anguish- nobody should be allowed to work across the street from their 'candy' store... I absolutely love getting outside in the incredible old growth wildernesses here in the Pacific Northwest and REI is the absolute master at meeting. All of those needs from absolutely incredibly diverse selections of both affordable and top-notch gear to a staff that is always so very knowledgeable and so willing to help. Pretty sure if they started offering snacks, I would move in. I end up making excuses to go in and then end up just browsing and being fascinated with all the incredible gadgets that make my time in the wilderness so much more fulfilling. I'm in love with this store and the Bellevue REI is truly incredible. Love you guys!

A must-visit outdoor gear store in Seattle, where REI started. They have all kinds of clothing and gear for outdoor activities. You will love it!

Favorite outdoor equipment store, conveniently located in downtown Bellevue. Not as big as the flagship store in Seattle but it's a fairly complete product assortment and knowledgeable staff to advise you on your purchase. Plenty of parking upstairs as downstairs tends to be full of Traders Joe's customers.

After having a bad experience at the Seattle location, I came to the Bellevue REI to get resized for ski boots and skis. I had Calvin help me size and mold ski boots. He was immediately ready to help and was very friendly my whole time there. Also, he offered me a 10% discount for my previous bad experience at the Seattle REI. The employees at the ski shop were also incredibly helpful. Additionally, they promised to install and adjust bindings in just a day. Very pleased with my experience here.

Stopped by the ski shop for a binding test, Rich went above and beyond to help me get my skis ready in less than an hour. He also went in depth explaining how and why he did every adjustment. It’s an exceptional experience!!!

Such a big variety of products. We always go to this location when we can’t find things in different REI stores.
People working there are really kind and always ready to help and answer a questions.
Always find sth practical for our camping trips! Recommend this place to anyone who likes outdoors!

Such good service. All of their staff were super friendly and willing to really help us find what we were looking for. Several styles we were interested in were unfortunately out of stock in our size and could not be ordered, but we were impressed with the selection and layout of the store and still spent $400 here. A good and less intimidating store compared to the flagship store in downtown Seattle. REI is one of my favorite stores.

This is without doubt the best REI I have ever been to. The styling inside the store is supercool and they have literally tons of stock of all kinds of paraphernalia that you would use when being in the outdoors everything from professional climbing equipment to mountain bikes, tents, outdoor clothing for all types of activities, outdoor footwear and quite a large selection of ski equipment. This is on top of many other cool things.

Best place to buy hiking gear around. Such a huge selection which makes it hard to choose from. All of the employees were very helpful and seemed happy to be there.

A couple months ago, Jace in the bike department absolutely made my day by fixing a flat for me on the spot. There was no wait at all when I walked in, he quickly found the right size tube and got me back on the road in minutes. May we all be so lucky to get any flats while passing this REI!

Ellie from the Bellevue store was nothing but helpful and warm and customer obsessed. She helped me with my return and she was super knowledgeable about company policy and has customer in mind. She made my day better.

Great store and the best of all the REIs I've been too. REI is pretty consistent, but this store has such a large inventory that is very easily laid out combined with the best resale area puts it above the rest. The staff was very friendly and quick to offer help, but were also great at giving you time to shop around before asking if I needed help.

I went here to buy climbing shoes and had a great experience. The staff are outgoing and helpful. Inventory was decent, and the store is absolutely full of high quality goods for every kind of outdoor activity imaginable.

if the mountain is calling you , REI is the best Range to prepare for that.
I like REI Bellevue for 5 reasons.
1. Location is perfect. It’s just nearby the Bellevue downtown ,easy to reach.
2. Full of parking lots. 1st floor is underground parking ,and 2nd floor is open air parking.
3. A good display space with obviously Classification.
4. Passionate and professional employees.
5. Lifetime return warranty for members, and lifetime membership is just only 20 dollars .

Ellie is amazing ! She knows how to talk to costumers and she is really helpful. She is one of the best cashiers I have seen at REI for sure.

REI has great products and beautiful stores. What it needs is more employees like Ellie who are able to interact well with costumers.

I don't leave a lot of reviews but I might as well because I had a really good experience here. Will in the shoe department was kind enough to run back and forth to bring like 8 pairs of boots out and back when I couldn't decide what I wanted. I finally found the perfect pair. Then a man at the front whose name tag I believe said Zhi was so helpful and even looked up discounts on the specific boot I want. He was able to tell me when the best time to come get it was so that I can get the best deal. Highly recommend this location.

Love this place, staff is always friendly. Lot of outdoor gears to chose from. And the return policy is amazing. $25 for lifetime member is the deal. Love their adventure trips through REI COOP ADVENTURE. If you want to go hiking, snow shoeing or camping and don’t know how to start, join a few adventure from them to boost your confident. Can’t say enough good things about REI.
