Kneaders Bakery & Cafe

This was my first time visiting the St. George Kneaders, although I'm a frequent patron of Kneaders in other cities. This location is on par with all other locations - very consistent food quality, service, and atmosphere - all of which are very good.

The food is always scrumptious - really, the best sandwiches just about anywhere, and you can't go wrong with any selection (you owe it to yourself to try them all eventually!). I had the chicken pesto sandwich this time, and it is a perfect compliment of flavors. Unfortunately, they really skimped on the pesto, so I had to go ask for some more. We also ordered the French dip (Awesome! Probably the best you can get), and the turkey, bacon, and avocado (a staple dish that we select whenever we go). They always put so much turkey on it that it won't fit in one's mouth without some serious squishing. Also, the white bean chicken chili is an absolute favorite of mine, but like all Kneaders, they only serve it barely warm, so you need to ask them to microwave it to get it steaming warm. Also, make sure you get a dessert - that's one of the main reasons for coming here (kind of like going to the carnival and not getting cotton candy!).

The atmosphere is cozy and it's rarely packed, so dining feels relaxed. They have a nice fireplace too, but being St George, how often do they turn it on?? The tables are a bit small for a party of four, and they are mounted to the floor, so you can't push two together.

The service is genuinely friendly, but pretty slow - from the order taking to the food delivery. But hey, it's a relaxed dining environment and slowness can easily be overlooked, especially when dining with friends or family, which is how you are supposed to enjoy your Kneaders experience in the first place. As always, highly recommended.

1st time in St George, clean place, friendly atmosphere. Busy but not overly crowded. What more do you need. Great first impression. Oh and the Turkey Bacon on Faccacio was on point.

Wonderful place for brekky. Moderate variety of brekky items, but the ones we ordered were quite delectable. Valiantly fought the urge to buy more baked goods from the display cases as we were in for a busy day of competitions. They all looked and smelled good. This cafe was open early, which was fortunate for us! Cashier was helpful in making great recommendations. The croissant used for my sandwich was buttery and flaky! My daughter's scramble was devoured in record time! They had a variety of hearty soups being served at lunch. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting St. George!

Just had the French toast for the first time. Absolutely incredible. The food in the service was excellent. I recommend go get some of this French toast. You won’t regret it. Their syrup with it is very flavorful.

We stopped in and tried the breakfast croissants and really enjoyed them! The bacon was crisp and the sausage flavorful. The staff was friendly and helpful. We took home a loaf of the multi-grain hearth bread and enjoyed it.

Absolutely lovely atmosphere. I felt like I was eating breakfast in my grandma’s kitchen 👵🏻🥐 The food was excellent. I would highly recommend getting the Bacon-Egg-Cheese Croissant sandwich. The guy taking our order had really cool hair, too. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stopped here to pick up some tarts for a friend. The raspberry was amazing and the fruit one was good, but not as good as the raspberry.

Also I love love the broccoli soup, it’s one of my favorite soups, hands down. I got a cup of it, for my sipping pleasure on my drive.

Samples of the cinnamon-pumpkin muffin top lit all the bells when we tried them while waiting to order, so we added one each to our lunches. I had the Irish Stew with hazelnut 12-grain bread, and my spouse ordered the chicken noodle soup in a soda-bread bun. That turned out to be the winner. My stew was surprisingly flat as served, but one packet of salt from the sideboard took care of that. I also stole some of the soup-bowl soda-bread lid to crumble into it, which improved the flavor even more. The end result was 5 stars worth of tasty lunch for two for less than $20.

I had the best time going out to eat at this restaurant today. Their turkey bacon avocado sandwich was out of this world delicious. I’ve had their desserts before but never have I eaten lunch and their food thoroughly impressed me. This is definitely a place I plan to return. #LFTHX

I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast croissant with coffee and oatmeal. The sandwich was bigger than I expected it to be and was loaded with bacon. It was exceptionally good. The oatmeal was served with raspberries and blueberries and a small cup of brown sugar. It was equally as tasty. The coffee was fresh and delicious. My buddy got all you can eat french toast and that looked like it was very filling. I would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! Totally a 10/10 experience. The atmosphere was awesome, and the food even more so. Definitely order the croissant with bacon, cheese, and eggs.

I bought a bunch of goodies to go. All were very tasty, but the key lime tart was absolutely mouth watering. The price was very reasonable and the store was very nice-looking and clean. If you’re making a stop in St. George and crave something sweet and yummy, I definitely recommend Kneaders. Hopefully one day when I’m back visiting Utah, I will have a go at those tarts again. Yum

Lots of great bakery goods and great breakfast choices. All you can eat pancakes or French toast for ( I think 5.99? ) Warm and cozy place.

It can be hit or miss but even the miss is still not horrible. Just sorta of a letdown when one time you have a peanut butter cookie and one time a peanut butter brick.

Sweet service, delicious salads and the desserts look amazing. Something for the whole family or a fun friends lunch. Cute atmosphere

Fernando was really awesome i didn’t know what to get from the menu because it was my first time he recommended me a good sandwich it was so good. It was a fun experience for a first time. He also made me feel welcomed.

Holiday magic really does exist. Jessica's team magically produced my last minute order without missing a beat. Undeniable delicious dinner rolls!!!! Thank you Kneaders Bakery!

The new general manager here is an absolute sweetheart and treated our family like gold! She made our experience just wonderful and we can't thank her enough! Don't let her leave! :)

Kneaders is such a wonderful bakery. We love the Rosemary Focacia Bread. I love that the slice it for you. They have a wonderful assortment of desserts. My favorites include Chocolate bombs and the Raspberry Cream pie. They have an assortment of soups and sandwiches. The provolone and Muenster melt is a grownup cheese sandwich and it is nice that they give you and option of whole or half sandwich. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which is only available for a short time in July. If you need fresh rolls this is definitely a wonderful place for that. You can even order ahead for holidays and special occasions. They have a drive through if you don't feel like going in and they also deliver.
