I am thrilled to share my amazing experience at this fantastic vintage store! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a delightful aroma and a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The collection of clothes, shoes, and records is truly exceptional, and I found some incredible treasures to take home.

What truly made my experience unforgettable was the friendly and knowledgeable staff who went above and beyond to share the fascinating story behind my Nike sweater. This added an extra layer of appreciation and made me even more excited to wear it.

When it comes to vintage, Old Earth Vintage is a true hidden gem in Berkeley. It's filled with an amazing curation of true vintage that is not only high quality, but accessibly priced as well. For someone like me who is just starting to learn about vintage, I love that I can come find unique pieces that aren't going to cost an arm and a leg. Plus, the owner, Tristan, is so knowledgeable. You can ask him about any piece in the shop and he will be able to tell you about when it's from or why it's special. You can tell that he puts a lot of care into the curation of the shop. It's the best place to buy vintage in the Bay Area!

Super cute stuff — some of it reasonably priced and some of it not. I dropped about $200 there. Good haul but when I mentioned one of the T-shirts they were selling was offensive to Asians the shop clerk tried to justify it by saying she wasn’t the buyer and that “some people collect this [Harley] stuff” and “it’s a representation of the racism of the time.” Thanks for vintagesplaining racism to me. Be better, Old Earth Vintage. To be fair, I think she was embarrassed and didn’t know how to respond but it’s kind of obvious. Pull the shirt off the rack. Don’t justify it so you can profit off racist memes. In Berkeley of all places, and during AAPI Heritage Month. 🙄 The T-shirt said, “God created RICE BURNERS to keep idiots off Harleys.”
