SADE (Turkish Coffee & Delights )

What a fun experience. The owner chatted with us about the Turkish coffee experience & traditional pairings with baklava. We ordered Turkish coffee & baklava and loved it! Highly recommended.

Great coffee & great experience!

Ali loves his craft! He loves getting the right ingredients, making a great cup of Turkish coffee, and he loves people! This is an experience as well as coffee! (But this is NOT the place to rush in and grab a cup to go! It would be a waste to do so!)

Even the delivery of the coffee was an experience! And the recommendations for sampling the coffee and pairing it with the baklava were spot on.

For the coffee itself, it was my first Turkish coffee experience:
First sip, almost “bread” like! (Cannot describe it any other way!)

After a small bite of baklava, which is more focused on the dough than Greek baklava, the coffee was almost fruity!

(Apparently the beans are dried with the fruit around it, unlike espresso beans that are separated from the fruit before drying)

So, if you are looking for a great coffee, and an experience, this is definitely worth checking out!!!

Final Note: The location is a little tricky to find but well worth it!

Interesting location off the beaten track but worth the turnoff if you need a break from driving and love Turkish coffee and treats. Ali is a great proprietor and host.

A hidden gem and highly recommend this coffee shop. I will definitely revisit whenever I am in town. The coffee shop is modern, elegant and welcoming, all done by the owner, Ali. Ali is friendly and knowledgeable. I love the combination of bitter fine Turkey coffee with sweets. I had Baklava and Pismaniye, all delicious. Thanks, Ali!

SADE coffee shop is in a beautiful location, with a very welcoming, cool and hip atmosphere.

SADE has the most delicious baklava and Turkish coffee. We tried the walnut and pistachio baklava and both are superb. The coffee is sweet and smooth, not bitter as you’d expect.
The owner Ali is so friendly and welcoming. We learned a lot about Turkish coffee talking with him!

A very unique coffee shop with delicious baklava! An adventure you’ll be sure to remember!

Stopped here on a whim while looking for a place to relax and read before dinner. This is a beautifully set up cafe, with a selection of teas, coffees, and Turkish treats. The owner is a lovely gentleman who we had a great time chatting with. We caught the first half of sunset from inside the cafe, which looks out over a field with a train track. Cozy spot with great drinks and delicious food.

The Turkish coffee and Baklava is top shelf quality and the best I've had in the States. The atmosphere is chill and upscale. Limited space, but keeps the experience personal. The location is tucked away a bit, but conveniently surrounded by what looks to be a few other interesting looking establishments. Ali was great, he was very friendly, professional, informative and caring/passionate about the products and the culture behind it. My wife and I reccomend taking the trip to SADE.

Such a cool hidden gem with an amazing view of the railroad. We had the best service and the best dessert and coffee. 12/10 recommend! You can tell they care about their products and service. I absolutely loved it!

This is a gem! Must not miss it if you are in Carpenteria or passing it. We needed a little mid day break during a long day and stumbled upon this randomly. The owner, Ali, was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. We had the most delicious Turkish coffee (had to take a sip before I remembered to photograph it!) and baklava. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning!

The owner has my heart. Randomly found this gem and cannot stress enough how kind they are. I will be making it a point to go again as soon as possible. Made not only me but my child feel special today!

Coffee was amazing. Smooth not to acidic. Per owners recomendation I need to make sure I have a true cup of Turkish coffee while I sit in the store not on the go which totally agree. More reason for me to go back sooner rather then later.

The Baklava oh my goodness the Baklava. Mouth watering without being aggressively sweet. Should have bought more!

You can taste the love and passion that goes into each cup of coffee here. The dog running around was a bonus, and the owner was extremely kind. Highly recommend for a date, friend hangout, or just a nice place to drink coffee and read a book.

We took our friends to experience Sade on Sunday. We spent 2 or 3 hours having a delightful and delicious time with Ali and Patrick who served us Turkish coffee and a yummy breakfast. Such a relaxing and warm atmosphere where connection and conversation is facilitated and encouraged by the gregarious owner, Ali.

Amazing hospitality! The owner Ali is super inviting and makes everyone feel at home. Baklava goes really well with coffee. This place is part of The Row, which is a collection of food/drink shops, including a chocolate shop, wine bar, and empanada kitchen. You can sit at one place and order from another shop and they deliver to you.

Ali's Turkish coffee shop Sade is amazing! He has combined his obvious passion for people and coffee. This is evident in the fact that you don't just get an amazing coffee, espresso, or latte. You get a connection with a friend that truly does his best to make your experience exceptional. I love his Turkish coffee and the imported Baklava. He will tell you how it's made in his home town. The shop has such a local feel and is a hidden gem here in Carpinteria. Thanks Ali!
