Carp Moon Cafe

Went here this morning for a late breakfast/brunch— it was delish! My boyfriend and I got the avocado toast with a poached egg on top (I got gf bread he got ciabatta bread) and both of us LOVED IT! I got the Milky Way latte and he got the Blue Moon latte. Both lattes were tasty but a little sweet and not much lavender flavor. Great organic coffee and still was super tasty though! We ordered from and talked to the owner a bit (at least I think she was the owner) and she was so sweet. She said there will be more gf options and pastries soon! It’s also cheaper than Lucky Llama with bigger portions— can’t wait to go back and support this little gem!

Super cute cafe with lots of yummy breakfast options and artwork. The woman at the counter was super kind and helped with my food allergy questions. Tamales are only available on the weekends but the omelette was still bomb. The coffee was super yummy too!

Great place! My sons (8 & 4) and I really enjoyed our breakfast yesterday, and we came back for more today! The service is amazing and they make you feel at home. We ordered the following: waffle plates with scrambled eggs, blueberry lemon cake, and an iced vanilla latte. Very very good! Def recommend.

Pretty much a local here, so I’ve seen this location’s different lives. Happy there’s another wonderful choice for coffee! I’m a fan of the Ll—-down the street, but this place offered cafe de olla, which I am loving as I’m writing. They put 2 scoops of brown sugar which is far too sweet for me, so I asked for 1/2 of 1 scoop, and they obliged. It’s PERFECT! Another thing I love is that there is more space to sit and spread out inside and out. I like to work in cafes so this is def going on the list of preferred “offices”.

Love this place! Come here every day of my week long vacation. The owner and staff are incredibly accommodating. The avocado toast is THE BEST you’ll ever have. A little spicy mayonnaise, a little lemon, crunchy onion and sprouts on a chibata bread! Yum! Super cozy as well with books to read and cozy chairs like you’re at home!

A Five Star experience, they really take care of you here. Great food, coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere has a cool and comfortable vibe. Really loved it all. Memorable and will stop in here next time we are in town.

I love this place. Such an awesome spot to go to for breakfast. It's conveniently located on Carpinteria Ave. They have the best organic coffee. I always get this along with my avocado toast whenever I roll by this spot. I've tried their pastries which are excellent as well. A second best to go with coffee!

A lovely coffee shop with a fun atmosphere and friendly staff! The Mocha tasted a little weak on the coffee front, but had a nice hot chocolate flavor overall that I enjoyed. Their breakfast burrito was also quite good!

Cute cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly and the coffee was good.

Staff is always so friendly and welcoming, even when its very busy! One of my favorite places to study/work.

I only ordered coffee and tea.They made a perfect London fog and the Milky Way with lavender was one of the top 5 cups of coffee I ever had!

My husband and I couldn't decide between the iced Cafe de Olla and the Milky Way Latte so we got both, and they were both delicious. I had low expectations for a good Cafe de olla in Carpinteria but I was actually super impressed, it was really tasty. I didn't know if I was going to like the lavender in the Milky Way latte but it worked really well. Definitely on the sweeter side, so I wouldn't recommend if you don't like sweet coffee drinks.
The shop itself has a ton of seating, including comfy chairs, and the owner was so sweet, giving us recommendations.

Love carp moon! Their coffee is so good. Whatever ratio they have with their drinks is perfect. Not overly sweet like the sugar bombs at Starbucks. Get the cafe de olla. The coffee is a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. It may not have the new, expensive style and aesthetic like newer places but don't let that stop you from going in. Nice owners and great service. If they added a few more fresh, in house made food items then I think that would really bring this place up to full potential. Try it out!

Absolute GEM!!! Excellent, local sourced organic coffee, great juice and fresh pastries from 805 area bakeries...and such pleasant and sweet staff. Laura, the owner is absolutely awesome! Hopefully Carp locals will give this cafe a lot of business and realize how lucky they are to have a non-chain coffee house that really takes the quality of their whole raison d'etre (coffee) seriously. Best coffee in Carp, hands-down.

Very helpful and friendly baristas with a welcoming vibe to a unique setting. Tried the spiced moon latte found to be an enjoyable spin on the otherwise overused pumpkin spice so many of us are getting tired of. The Americano was also noticeably better than the average with good flavour, right temp and no bitterness.
They even provided helpful advice of where to find a public basketball court that was available for my son and I to shoot a few hoops. Thank you!

Awesome Guatemalan organic coffee. Fantastic customer service. The owner Laura greeted us with a smile. Sit outside and soak up the sun.

My girl found this nice cafe, I can't really tell about food cause we didn't dine in or have anything to go, just a cup of coffee but is not only coffee is a drink that anyone would want to have all day long and a tiramisu whis was way delicious we will definitely go again , it's worth the 2 hours drive I really recommend anyone to stop by for some coffee and try the tiramisu
