Gigi's Gelato & Italian Market

My daughter and I ventured in to this place a few months ago for gelato. Their soft serve gelato is delicious. But what makes this place memorable is the second we came In the associate told us about their homemade Muffalatta sandwich. It did not disappoint. A whole one cost just under 40 dollars and will feed an army. I highly recommend trying it out. Muffalatta sandwich are only available Monday so order ahead!

Best shop in town! I love the sandwiches and soup. Lots of variety in all Italian foods and specialty olive oils. The staff is super friendly and always helpful.

Friendly people and great service and so much to choose from. For a Christmas Party for 22 guests got a pan of Rigatoni with meat sauce and a pan of Pasta con Broccoli, they both were a hit with my guests! Plan on using them again! Wonder if there is an Italian version of Jambalaya or Red Beans and Rice would definitely have it for out Mardi Gras Party in Soulard this coming February.

I didn’t catch the lady’s name but I came in 09/09/2023 at 6:30ish and the customer service was amazing. The lady was about to whip something up before we walked in and asked if we wouldn’t mind the noise, which was very considerate. They were out of lids so she found away to help us since we were taking the gelato to-go. She had a nice conversation with us as well! I had a question for her about pistachio gelato and she answered it and even pointed me towards the Facebook page so I could keep up with the store for when they get it. They have a good variety of foods, snacks, desserts, etc. as well. The gelato is nice, creamy, and flavorful. It reminds me of the gelato I got when I visited Austria!

Stopped in with my daughter for some fresh bread from the hill. I was blown away with the selection of items. I usually go over to the hill to get stuff....not anymore. Fresh spiedini made for me while I was shopping. The Gelato was delicious, tasted and purchased some amazing olive oil and balsamic. Plus my favorite olive salad, yup into the basket..The cannoli are beautiful...yes they came home too... staff are super friendly. Come summer there will be sub sandwiches from here going to the river with us. Stop in you will really enjoy this store.

Fantastic flavored balsamic and infused oils, delicious sandwiches and frozen prepared meals, and wonderful customer service! The fresh breads are delicious and have become a mainstay in my house! I always love walking in and perusing the store, buying my items, and chatting with the people working there

The infused olive oils and balsamics are amazing! My favorites are the black truffle oil and the peach balsamic. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. It felt like I was at a friend's house trying new food! They have many ingredients to offer that will take your cooking to the next level.

Very cute place. Love that it's family-owned. I bought some bread, olive oil, vinegar, gnocchi, wine, and biscottis. Everything is delicious. The gelato bar is fun, and so are the people! Will be back.

If you know what I muffalata is, they have every Monday. It's one of the few spots that I should carries them. The staff is wonderful and the products are amazing.

Gigi’s had to be one of the most amazing and friendliest places to be. They are beyond helpful in every way, and they include samples for a lot of different items they have in the store. Which was amazing because I’ve never tried a lot of the stuff they sold. I will be a returning from here on. I am so thankful they are around. Please support their business.

This is a great start-up Italian market. We went in just before they closed with a gelato craving and the staff was still very pleasant and helpful. The selection was good and authentic from Italy. We'll be back to stock up on pastas soon.

I found out about this place from Tim Ezell on Fox 2 News. The man that was working there was so helpful and friendly. I bought a loaf of Italian bread, a package of pizzelle cookies, in a lemon gelato. So yummy everyone needs to go there. I will be back.

Everything about this place was amazing! The staff was super friends, the gelato was delicious, the ravioli and cannolis were to die for. Such a good experience!
