Caffe Bottega Italiana

Great shop/restaurant where EVERYTHING is imported from Italy! They have a vast array of Italian meats, cheeses, sweets and other delicacies. We ordered a delicious pizza-like dish that was out of this world and took home Italian cookies. I will be going back to make gift baskets for holiday presents!

My wife and I are now hooked. Ordered the Speck & Asiago Fresco sandwich and the Porchetta & Asiago Fresco sandwich. Both were out of this world! I stopped in when they first opened in July, but they didn't have sandwiches yet at that time since they had just opened. Now I regret not returning sooner. David, the owner, was very friendly, and you can really feel the compassion he has for Cafe Bortega.

You don't have to know anything about Italian ingredients to enjoy what Cafe Bortega has to offer. David and his staff will guide you and offer you samples.

Do yourself a favor and don't drive past this Leesburg gem again without stopping. My wife and I will be coming here again and again for the foreseeable future

Forget how expensive it is and just enjoy. It’s hard to say in NOVA these days but you won’t care how much is was when you leave. It’s delicious, the family run business is all about the experience, quality and taste. It’s fantastic.

The food is so amazing here! The pizzas are fantastic and fresh. They always have some sort of free cheese or meat tasting on the counter. Everyone working is really friendly and I love this small business! I love all the different rooms of different Italian products too. Our favorite place to go!

Stopped in to check out this little Italian place with low expectations after living in Italy for a couple years. The owners were incredibly welcoming, proud, and excited to share their new caffe! They didn’t have the exact sandwich I was looking for but were super quick to make one for me just how I wanted it. It was absolutely delicious and quickly took me right back to Italy. I’m super excited to have this gem right down the road and look forward to many more visits.

This store is amazing. Free samples are given out like candy. Smart, because I went out the door with so much more as a result! The cheese/meat selection is incredible and the quality of the products is top notch. There's no need to drive down to Arlington to pick up my Italian groceries anymore. Highly recommend!

What a gem of a place. Such an experience to learn about Italian imported meats and cheeses and how to use them through the samples I was offered. I visited these lovely owners for the first time today and it was the perfect pick me up, along with a wonderful cappuccino ofcourse. I’m not sure that I can ever assemble a charcuterie board without their products moving forward - I could really taste the difference in quality. Totally upgraded my olive oil and aged balsamic game. Sun dried peppers? Life changing.

Soft opening review : Amazing place it is the REAL deal for Italian foods. They are so nice can try samples before you buy. Fresh bread , fresh Italian deli cuts , and more def worth going to try. My family cannot wait to come down and try being 1st gen Italians

Best sandwiches in the area. Best pizza (yes that’s right I said it) and best small town feel. The flavors, ingredients, and recipes used make everything you eat here taste so so good. David (the owner) is kinda and happy to answer questions or just talk! It’s as Italian as it can get.

The owners are fantastic, which matches the quality of the food. Wonderful little Italian specialty market attached to the deli. Will keep getting better when they can serve wine by the glass.

Friends, amazing Italian food has reached Loudoun County. David is always behind the counter and can’t WAIT to have you sample all the things. They always have Sandwhiches ready to go, but calling it a Sandwhich is offensive. His food is outstanding, authentic, and you can taste the love and pride in everything he does. He has all the meats you simply could not otherwise find out this way. He also has a store in the back with all the goodies. Pastosa Ravilo! Amongst other things. I’ll have to come back and update this. But GO… closed Sunday and Monday, heads up.

This is our new favorite place in Leesburg! The food here is great quality, and the owner David helped guide me through all the options. The panino speck with arugula, balsamic, etc is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had! We’re also a big fan of their pizza and bread.

Great place to get fresh made Italian sandwiches. They also have a good selection of deli meats and cheeses plus high quality Italian groceries. The owner, David and his parents are great people!

David is delightful, and showed me (and sampled) some fantastic sundried tomatos, peppers and balsamic!!! Glutten free pasta, Italian cold cuts like in NY,NJ, RI…Buffalo Mozzarella!! And he has plans for great additions!

This an unassuming Caffe. The owners are lovely and happy to offer samples.
They have traditional items such as pastas, meats, candies, cheeses, drinks, etc.
Those food is fresh and presented well.
The establishment is clean and inviting.
If you are in search of a quaint taste of Italy, this is the place.
Parking is in the back.

New favorite place for amazing sandwiches. Brought an out of state friend there, and Caffe Bottega is already on her must return to list for next time. The staff are very friendly. Besides the deli food, there is a little market section with Christmas items in right now. I love panettone, and theirs looks amazing! Can't wait to try it!
