Another Broken Egg Cafe

1st time eating here. I got the Eggs Benedict with Cheesy Grits. First off, we were greeted by this tiny waitress, with the biggest, most infectious smile I've seen named Mattie!! She recommended to my boyfriend sometime and he ordered it. He is still talking about it. She was spot on.The food didn't take long at all. It came to our table looking like it came out of 5 star restaurant and tasted that way as well! I purchased $50 in gift cards for Holiday gifts to insure my return!

We made our first trip here the second week they are open on Sunday morning at 7:45. Our waitress was very sweet and we had coffee and water whenever we needed. Our cups where never empty. I originally ordered the Lobster hash Benedict but failed to read the description correctly. It didn’t come with the English muffin and instead had hash brown croquettes. I told the waitress and she made the switch for me with no issues at all. The manager came over to ask us about our food and was also very friendly. All of our food was fantastic. The fireplace was going and it was a cozy morning. We were also thanked as we left and told to have a good day. Very pleasant experience all around.

The food was delicious. Paige was an awesome server. She was very attentive, polite, and funny. I had the Supreme omelet and regular grits, very filling. Hubby had the shrimp and grits, with a side of a Belgium waffle. He compared this to another restaurant in which he orders this all the time. He likes this one the best. The shrimp is tailess, the sausage has a great spicy taste, and the gravy is well seasoned. If you like a great gumbo flavor, this is what he recommends.

Welll the food was so good. I got the hey Lucy omelette. I ate it all!!! For a side I got a fruit cup and by my surprise there was mangos in it. How rare is that. The omelette was spicy but not overwhelming and there was sides of salsa and sour cream. For a drink I got the coffee. The service was slow when coming right in but after seated was smooth. 10/10 experience.

Was my first time at this location. I was extremely pleased. Everything was well prepared. Presentation was on point. This is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. My server was Marina. She was great. Took time to explain things I had questions. Attentive not obtrusive.

The atmosphere was very welcoming when we walked In. Cortney was an amazing server, gave us the run down on where the name came from, told us about some favorites on the menu. Everyone had a smile on, food was absolutely delicious and came out very quick. Will be back for sure to try something new.

My husband and I came for a day-date and had the best experience! Jacob was our server and he was FABULOUS! So personal, great personality, and customer service.

Today was our first time in!! When we walked in we were greeted with a smile. The decor and atmosphere was beautiful, it felt very warm and cozy with the fire place going. Our waitress was Madison she was so sweet and kind and took very good care of us with anything we needed. The food was great!! I had the GF bourbon pancakes they were delicious, that sauce was a 10/10! My partner had the Blackstone Benedict and though it tasted amazing but the portion size of the potatoes he received with it was not comparative to other customers side dishes in the restaurant as well as the photos of the food present on the table. Not sure why that is. We asked Madison and she explained that was the portion size we kindly asked her for more. You would think for a $15 breakfast they could give you a decent portion of potatoes. If we didn’t ask for more my partner would have still left hungry. I just think that it might be wise to check on this to prevent future customers having the same issue. I unfortunately didn’t get a photo to reference but still thought it would be good to give feed back. Overall our experience was great and we will return again to try some of the other menu options. Don’t miss out on this wonderful place. It feels like a vacation location in the heart of Mentor. The food was exceptional and our server, Jess, was terrific. Loved it! Make sure to order the hash brown croquettes. They are divine!

Treated extremely well from the moment we walked in. Our hostess, Samara, was extremely friendly and accommodating. She offered menue suggestions and her personal favorite. She also took time with us and answered any questions we had. We also appreciated our server, Alyssa, she was very friendly and helpful as well with menue questions and suggestions. She checked in on us often and took good care of us during our visit. The food was delicious! Lobster Benedict, Lobster Hash Benedict and Beignets. Plenty of Lobster and we felt.. a very good value! We can't wait to go back to try other appealing menue items. Definitely a new favorite!

The food here is so good. The beignets with orange marmalade tastes like fruit loops. The seasonal lobester hash was delicious as well
They don't have any vegetarian protein, which was a bummer. Miranda was our server, and she was amazing. We will definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing breakfast. The rum butter was delightful. We had an amazing hostess. Her name is Bailey. She welcomed us and sat us with such a friendly smile. Will definitely return again.

Always excited to see a new breakfast place comes to the area, I had to give Another Broken Egg Cafe a try.

The location was only half filled when we got there, so we quickly got seated. We were asked if it was our first time there and when we told our server it was, we were treated to a free plate of beignets!

Our server was attentive and kept bringing new drinks when we were low. The food did take longer then I would have thought it should have with the amount of customers there at the time, but it was made up for by the quality of the food. Another Broken Egg Cafe is the only place the four of us have gone where everyone loved their food and had little to no issues with anything.

In particular, I would highly recommend trying the beignets, the hash brown benedict, and the southwestern scrambler.

Tried out a new restaurant today Another Broken Egg Cafe after our exercise. This is located near the Great Lakes Mall where Max and Erma’s used to be. We heard there have been long waits since they have been open for just a few weeks, but we got right in. They are just a breakfast/brunch place, so they close early—2 pm on weekdays and 3 pm on Weekends. Mattie A was so friendly and cheerful and took great care of us.

The interior is bright and airy and the food is what we would call upscale brunch. They make their own coffee ($3.99) from bean to cup which was good.

We started with a half order of biscuit beignets ($4.99 for 4). These were a bit heavy (not light and airy like mine…). Probably wouldn’t order them again.

One of us ordered the country power bowl ($14.99). It had everything but the kitchen sink in (country ham, onions, cheese and tomatoes, and topped with sausage gravy) and served with bacon and a gigantic biscuit. It was served on cheddar Jack cheesy grits or potatoes. It was a huge portion. Enough for 1 or 2 more meals.

The other ordered the hash brown Benedict ($14.99). This was a crispy ham and cheese potato croquette, similar to a potato pancake, topped with perfectly poached eggs and an herbed Hollandaise sauce with mushroom and red pepper. It too was delicious.

If you are just looking for eggs and toast, this is not the place I would recommend. But if you are adventurous or looking for something special, this is the perfect place. We are definitely going to come back because there are other things we want to try. They also have seasonal items, so you can count on the menu changing.

Our server Cortney z was amazing she was so helpful with what to get in the menu! She picked a BOMB cocktail for me and she was so fun and spunky!!! And the food WAS AMAZING!!! Me and my hubby will definitely be back again!!! 😍😍🥺

It was my friend's and I first time here! We loved the energy from our waitress Mattison, she was so sweet and bubbly! The food was delicious. I got the cinnamon roll french toast and it truly is the best cinnamon roll french toast I have ever ate!!

Great service and our server Alyssa was awesome and another server Samara.. probably spelled her name wrong .. she saw my Loyola sweatshirt and came up to me to ask about the school!! So friendly and highly recommended

The food was amazing! The Bloody Mary and Mimosa selections were great!! Our server Tayler was awesome! Delicious food! Friendly staff and great atmosphere!! We will all be back!!
