Old time pool person. Experienced to a degree. For several years, I’ve needed parts or an experienced troubleshooter. They have always been spot on. I’m appreciative and the new location is super simple to find. Thank you again. Replaced valve in a snap!

We went in for a free water test to open our pool for the year. We received a detailed report that thoroughly explained what we needed (and what we didn't need!) with individualized attention to assure that our questions were answered. No upselling or push to purchase additional items-which is rare!

Store was clean, bright, welcoming, and technology was up-to-date. Lots of fun accessories for pool and spa as well as the newest Dolphin self-cleaning devices!

Customer service was awesome as we felt respected and that they were genuinely happy to have us in the store.

Most importantly, our pool is perfect in two days.

Went in for a free water test and they helped me get exactly the chemicals I needed to get my pool nice and clear! Very knowledgable and helpful staff.

I went to a bunch of other places, and they all said they wouldn’t service my pool because it was “too far gone” or “had new forms of life (lol!)”, but the pool guys did a great job!

They told me exactly what I did and didn’t need, and didn’t charge for water tests. Plus, they helped me understand what I was doing to my pool. 10/10 service!!

The Pool Guy, LLC is a company that has done far more than simply keeping my pool Crystal over the last 10 years-they have drastically improved the quality of my life! By providing personable service that simplifies the potentially daunting task of keeping the pool clean, they have helped create more time to spend with my family on trips and relaxing days poolside. Additionally, when problems arise, and they absolutely do with any pool, they have remained readily available to strategically yet frugally problem solve. They are not about the money but rather about improving the quality of the customer’s life!

The staff at The Pool Guy is great. We have used them for years to help maintain our pool. We buy all of our supplies from them, for our pool and spa. We also take advantage of their free water test at The Pool Guy store in Old Saybrook. I would highly recommend them.

Have had cloudy water since I opened my pool…. Decided to try the pool guy before I drained it and started over…. Staff was great and knowledgeable!!! Hoping the treat they gave me will work!!!

As a new pool owner I had lots of questions with my Pool. Within a day or two of getting my water test and new chemicals my water is crystal clear! Best place out there, the people are patient and make sure you only buy what you really need, the only people I trust with my pool! So happy I found this place, highly recommend!

After two other companies hadn't shown up. I reached out to The Pool Guy. They sent out a crew and got my pool closed and secured. Tim and his guys were prompt and kind. I can't wait to have them back in the spring for clean up and opening.

We inherited a pool when we bought our house in Lyme last year. We had never been pool owners before. The previous owners contracted with a competitor prior to the sale who wasted about a month trying one thing or another to get the pool clean and clear. I finally fired them and called the pool guy. In two days the pool looked perfect! Not only that, the pool guy walked me through all my equipment explaining everything so clearly that I was able to manage the pool for the rest of the summer by myself. Really these guys are wonderful. They had a plan! And they were really helpful walking me through everything. Seriously—hire them. Incidentally, their bill was 1/6 of the idiots who took a month to fail.

Have used a few different pool companies along the shoreline. Have found these guys to be the best. People in the store know what they are talking about and will get you what you need if you don't have it. Outside technicians do a great job, my pool is always looking beautiful. Would highly recommend.

This is a well run store.. The staff was extremely curtious and knowledgeable.. I was in line and the advise was right on the money. The floor plan is open and the product line was fronted.. I have confidence in this team.. Not only is the owner Tim the most knowledgeable pool guy I ever met but also the nicest. Always smiling... Sooo if you need realiable pool guys this is a one stop shop.. They offer open and close packages.. Equipment updates and weeky maintenance programs.. So here ya go.
