Excellent hardware store with a great selection of screws, nuts, bolts, etc in steel, brass, stainless steel,marine grade (316) stainless steel, etc. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly staff.

Great hardware store if you can find it.. if you need it chances are you live in Old Saybrook or one of the surrounding towns. I started coming here because the Home Depot is a 25 minute drive away.. it's actually quite a large store and you can get just about anything that you would find in Home Depot except for lumber and similar products.. very well laid out and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.. the place is especially good for those emergency Hardware needs.

What a nice Service. Needed some batteries and the person there opened the small light and put the batteries for me and took his time to help. Thank you.

I was at a rental home and a screen on the porch was ripped by some one in the house. I brought the screen the the Ace hardware shop. I was told it would be ready in about 3 weeks. I made a plea that I needed it it 2 days when we were leaving the rental.house. They made an exception and had the screen done by the next morning and gave me a discount on the screen repair. I was very impressed with. the help and customer service.

Will be my first stop before going to the big box store. Probably won't have to go to the Depot or Lowes.
