Vallarta Supermarkets

The people who work there are wonderful. The people who shop there are kind and say hello instead of staring at the ground or a phone. The food is a little slice of heaven, so fresh and great prices. I feel like I found a new place to dwell for groceries 😋. Was treated with respect, and they had more than one cashier working, unlike many other stores that cost much more. Today was a good day!!!

Fresh everything. Love getting all my Mexican food here, from all kinds of meats (Al Pastor, Chicken, Ceviche), to treats (flan).

I ordered Tiramisu Birthday cake from them and it was the best as always

The SC Vallarta is the closest thing to a Mexican market in Los Angeles. It carries the stuff we need for making authentic recipes. We love the hot tamales. There's a variety to choose from. The masa to filling ratio is perfect. And they are so convenient for serving on special occasions as they are available year-round. The prices are competitive, too.

Very good selection of produce and good prices. I was doing laundry next door so I had lunch at the carniceria inside and it was great Mexican food.

I can only rate the butcher shop, and I’m a fan. I usually get carne asada tacos and tamales, and they are always on point.

Every Vallarta Supermarket is always well managed. Their staff is well trained and friendly.

I have driven past this supermarket many times, but never went in, so I finally decided to go in, loved it to say the least! It was super clean…….you come in to all the Mexican pastries & already cooked food. I ordered some tacos & pupusas (El Salvadorean). I walked around & was so excited to see a lot of Mexican products 🙌🏼 not just food, but seafood, candy, sauces, bulk products, etc. Anyway, got the ingredients to make some yummy chilaquiles, will definitely be coming back for all my Mexican stuff 😁

Orel was very helpful and went above and beyond to find my favorite Lucas candy for me when he certainly didn't have too.

It’s a nice grocery store with friendly employees, fresh produces and better rotation for discount and stock-in. It’s really impressive for the quality of vegetables, fruits and bakery for cheap prices. Some factory based manufactured products are a bit more expensive than other grocery store. I haven’t tried meat and fish corner yet but it will be awesome to try chicken.

Updating my review. Very happy I stopped by my husband was looking for Regias a salvadorian beer. The Vallarta closer to us is always out as they say once we ask. As we were walking around I noticed a sign of beyond meat tacos. I asked an employee if they carried that meat in store and he said " That one advertised if from our food section. They make the tacos here" he then was leaving and came back and gave me options of the vegetarian or vegan options they had in store and pointed me in the right direction. Was very happy thank you for the great customer service.

I love this store. They have excellent customer service, and the clerks are always friendly and well presented. The meat, produce, and prepared foods are always fresh and at reasonable prices. They also have great selection!

Love their prices and customer service. Daniel the courtesy clerk is nice and very helpful. He always goes above and beyond to help and makes me feel welcome at the store.

Inexpensive and everything is tasty. Got cveiche in the meat dept. Better than most restaraunts at a fraction of the cost. The pan dulce never disappoints and the carneceria is great when you dont feel like cooking but dont want to spend much.

I may cancel my Costco card because I can find most everything I need at Vallarta, at a cheaper price and better quality. The bread is fresh baked and reminds me of the bakery bread I knew in the 70s in NYC.

Awesome but there's one thing you guys are missing?... He's outstanding fela. I think his name is Jonathan?? He used work for the meat department, he was a red helmet in that place and now i don't come because he's not there anymore 👎. Contact him back. He know to make me feel welcomed and the best greetings when he's was doing the marinated meats, he stop and helped me quick. He just stop what he was doing and helped me and cutted my meat perfectly and seasoned my meat juicy and perfect. Thank you Jonathan for your costumer services your the best man. I wish I could see again here in Vallarta in Newhall.

Caldo de res was really good I recommend it to anyone looking for a good caldo they also have caldo de pollo aswell I tried it before and it was better then the caldo de res

The Mexican 🇲🇽 place to get our groceries when we come to santa Clarita, the produce and groceries always fresh ! Today we took some assorted flavored tamales, mmm so delicious, love this place ❤
