Cafe Dulce (Vernon)

Both my Husband and I were glad to find this place. I la la love coffee and we both love amazing desserts. So this place felt like a hidden jackpot. Like I said I love coffee, so I had to try their vietnamese iced coffee. And it did not disappoint! Strong, lightly creamy, bold and yet smooth. I will definitely get it again (after I try the other iced coffee drinks on their menu). We also tried their freshly made chocolate chip cookies 🍪🍪 they were delicious. Not too sweet, not too chocolatey and right amount of soft/crunchy. Customer service was great, they were welcoming and inviting. The character of the place felt very chill, made us look forward to coming back soon.

The iced blueberry matcha with oat milk is a great treat. Super balanced matcha, sweet, & refreshing, you can clearly taste the blueberry.

They make their own pastries and the staff is super friendly, especially Dan.

They have a few different locations, and this one seemed consistently busy while we were there. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, with free parking in the lot. Next time, I’m going to try a sandwich!

The blue berry matcha is a must! not everyone knows how to make matcha but the barristas here at the best. The customer service is great. They are all very kind and helpful, and their recommendations are always pretty good.

I’d also recommend the Tuna sandwich 🥪

Stopped in to Cafe Dulce for the first time today to see what was up. I'd heard good things from friends so I figured I'd check it out.

At first glance it looks like pretty much every other 3rd wave shop I've been to here in LA. Bright, hip, cool beats. Normally that's a warning flag to me that they put thei hearts into image, and not substance. That happens a lot here. People love a place because how it looks, and because their friends tell them it's good, they say it's good, and so the hype for a bad shop grows.

But, I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality and heart of the staff. No upturned noses, no snobbish air, no crappy annoying hipster vibe. Just friendly smiles and a knowledgable staff.

My old measure of a shop used to be the drip...and, when I've got a bunch of time to sit and chill that's what I do. But, a new measure I've been using is espresso. If you cant do an espresso right, youd better take the 3rd wave out of your description. If you think there should be any measure of bitter in that shot, seriously, gtfo. No real espresso has any bitter. Think bouquet of complex flavors that change as you go from top to bottom.

Well, this shop knows how to do its espresso. Top to bottom a flavor profile that stands distinct and delicious. I can only assume that if this is their foundation (how many drinks have espresso in them...) the rest is gonna be good.

Located just off a major busy street there's ton of parking in the lot next door, seating both indoors and out, and some solid wifi.

If you're in the area and unsure of where to get a cup of Joe or your morning late, check this place out.

Oh, and the pastries they serve...be warned, they're tasty too.

These Donut's are misleading to the eye. They are not simple donuts. The pink/red donut has strawberry filling inside it was good. My kiddos destroyed the box...lol I arrived right before closing time. They were very helpful and very nice. I highly recommend this place.

The chicken pesto sandwich is so good its worth every penny!

Ordered drinks only, an iced dulce latte and an iced blueberry matcha latte. Both drinks were good. The iced dulce latte was not too sweet the way I wanted my drink. The blueberry matcha latte was good as well.

Very hidden little Gem, I usually go to Jersey mikes across the way but decided to poke my head in and see what they had on the menu, since I was in the mood for a sandwich I tried the Chicken 🐔 Pesto and for about $10 It comes with a nice size sandwich and a tasty side salad 🥗. My buddy got the vegan option which was a mushroom 🍄 sandwich and he said that he definitely enjoyed and would get it again.

The service was excellent, and the pastries were amazing. The matcha green tea donut was amazing. It was liight, and cream filling had the right amount of sugar.

I love their Dulce Iced Latte. Their bacon donut is my favorite one of all places; the bread is airy, soft but still holds its shape. The glaze it's just sweet enough to complement the saltiness of the bacon. So good so good
Will go back for their other drinks!

I got the breakfast burrito minus potatoes and added advacado. I'm telling you this is literally the best breakfast I have ever had and I have eaten at restaurants all over the USA!

I've frequented this coffee shop and heartily endorse it for both relaxing and doing work. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. They have a good wi-fi signal, which keeps me there longer. This location is ideal for a get-together. highly advisable

I work at the Jersey Mike's next door. I have been waiting for this place to open. Tried the kimchi sandwich.... It was amazing. The little salad it came with was refreshing and crisp. Definitely will come back.

Love their coffee smooth freshly brewed taste the pastries are delicious 😋 but mostly I can add oat milk so bomb to my café ☕

This is my favorite breakfast spot. If I'm in mood just for getting a drink I pick something from their Milk tea lattes. But whenever I'm hungry, I take my favorite breakfast burrito.

Yo this place was fire! The breakfast carne asada burrito with the salsa was delicious. Workers were also chill.
