Kaiser Permanente Interstate Medical Office East

I am new to Kaiser and have only had to office visits now. I see Dr Liu who has been wonderful and very helpfully. He takes the time to answer all of my questions and explains everything in detail. He cares about his patience and it shows.

I had a follow up appointment with my primary care physician, Dr. Steven Liu to go over my lab results. Dr. Liu explained the results clearly and gave a detailed treatment plan for my health care. He is a very personable and caring person. I feel at ease and confident that he’s my physician.

Dr. Colburn was helpful, kind, funny and efficient. The last doc I came to who wasn’t my pcp was awful and fat-phobic and rude and ungentle and I left traumatized so this was lovely. Also his nurse was amazing and kind also. I really appreciated that they were both queer as well.

The best parking for this building is the north free-standing garage. Maps seems intent on routing to either the loading docks or the "underground" lot directly off Interstate Ave. I keep tweaking the location, but even when Maps accepts it routing is a bit off.

Internally this location is, like so much of KP Interstate, a bit confusing. But if one checks in with a human they can usually direct you properly.

Of the various medical choices around, Kaiser is the best we've found. Not perfect, but decent.

I just prepared comments about my experience today and was interrupted. I am not sure if my comments were submitted and received.
In brief, I have always had helpful and skilled care with Dr. Tori Jones, as I did today. She is a good commutator and always leaves me feeling optimistic about my health. Dr. Jones has been my primary physician for more than 20 years and I have full confidence in her care.

Dr. Liu is the best! He is super nice and understanding and is a very good listener. He's always putting my health first which makes me feel so comforted knowing I have someone that cares on my team. I recommend him to everyone that sees him as an option!!!

I had a routine annual exam (pap) and discussed a couple of other things with my PCP, Dr Young. She was fantastic, as always. She listens and takes the time to ensure my needs are met. The nurse, Shauna, who started me with vitals, etc, was also great. Top notch team.

I like how comprehensive this facility is for a non-hospital setting; so many of one’s healthcare needs can be achieved all in one location (appointments, labs, medical imaging, pharmacy, urgent care, etc.). I also like that this facility is located right by a Trimet Max stop, making it quite accessible. As with anywhere, it might take trialing a few primary care physicians to find the right fit for you, but everyone I have interacted with here has been quite professional.

First time visit with my NP, Sarah. Very warm and professional. Took good care to educate me, ensure I was comfortable during my procedure, and to develop a good care plan moving forward. I had had such a poor experience with my internist PCP I was thinking about leaving Kaiser. But I decided to give it another try and my visit with Sarah has “brought me back.”

Dr. Heather M is caring and compassionate. She truly listens to you. Rachel the MA was clear about any delays and my care felt coordinated.

My primary care doctor Brit Neilson is amazing, and my appointment was great. The pharmacy was good and I missed my number while I was in the restroom, but they still helped me. The lab had quite a wait but the lab lady that drew my blood was super patient and great

I had an amazing experience. I had my doctors appointment with the gynecologist, got blood work done in the lab, and got my prescription from the pharmacy all within an hour. Everyone was kind and welcoming and efficient.

Dr. Steven Liu is amazing! He’s so attentive and takes the time to answer all my questions. I would definitely recommend him if you’re in search of a PCP.

Dr Wang was compassionate while offering quality care and responding to all my concerns today. The lab tech, Amy, did a great job with my blood draw. Got a good draw on the first try with a painless smaller needle. Feeling grateful as I leave V Interstate today. Glad Kaiser met the demands of their skilled workers who deserve even much more, I believe, after all Kaiser staff has done for members through the pandemic. Thank you to everyone!!

I had a great experience. Probably the best I have had at Kaiser. Dr. Mahmood and his nurse were very nice and attentive. I was only in for my BP, but Dr. Mahmood addressed my recent labs and issues that I am having. This was my first time seeing him.

Liz and Dr. Motonaga were exceptional during my visit. Liz was very attending to my needs and the problem I was having. Dr. Motonaga was very helpful during the examination and my medical issue. She is exceptional.

I am so thankful for the comprehensive care that Kaiser provides. My son had an urgent need come up and we needed same-day care. We were able to get an appointment, then get the needed meds filled right away. There was an opening for the ultrasound at a near by clinic that he needed. Dr Yu and team were so caring and explained everything we needed to know. The Dr and Medical assistant helped calm my child’s nerves around getting his flu shot, as he really dislikes needles. My son commented that everyone was so nice. Way to go Kaiser!!!

As a new patient I've been pleased with the professional treatment here. No complaints.

Recently had surgery here with DR. K and staff. Everyone was super professional, and worked well together. Great nurses and surgeons!
