Carmical Dentistry

This was our first visit and we got a great impression so far. Very friendly and thorough. We will be going back.

Let's just say they do not disappoint. Today, I had implant surgery and Dr. Carmichael and his two amazing assistants did such a phenomenal job!! I didn't have any pain during the entire procedure...which is completely unheard of for me! He constantly checks on you and they make sure you feel comfortable and have all your questions answered before even beginning. I was impressed from start to finish. If you live in NWA and don't go to Carmichael Dentistry...you need to start! They are truly the best I've ever been to. That is saying a lot.

I’ve been meaning to switch dentists for a while due to location, it was expedited today when I needed in immediately due to somewhat of a dental emergency. From the initial phone call I made, to the last person that spoke to me on the way out, I can actually say this was a great experience (yes, a great experience…at the dentist). Thank you all for your hospitality and expertise!

I couldn't be more pleased with Carmichael Dentistry. Both Dr. Carmichaels are wonderful at what they do. I'm deathly afraid of the dentist and I was instantly put at ease. Dr Carmical and all of his staff worked together to make my visit comfortable, quick, and free of stress. I can’t say I enjoy going to the dentist, but since it’s something important to my health, then this is where I want to go. The hygienist was gentle and calm and the front desk staff were friendly took care of everything very smoothly. Good job Dr Carmical, great staff and it’s awesome to be back in your practice!

My first time visiting this dentistry was a great experience! The girls and Dr. Carmical were so friendly and I was in and out of my cleaning appointment within 40 minutes. My teeth feel great and I look forward to coming back for my checkup in 6 months!

I moved here from another state about a year ago and took a chance with Dr. Carmichael as my new dentist. I am very pleased with the work Dr. Carmichael has done for me. He is very confident in his work and also very personable. I would also like to recognize Andrea and Hannah as exceptional staff. I feel comfortable at this office.

We were referred to Dr. Carmical 13 years ago, by an out of state colleague that attended dental school with him. We love his practice, patience and skill just as much as our previous dentist that provided the recommendation. Great dentist, great practice and great employees. Definitely a practice for the whole family as they are great with our kids.

Dr. Carmical is an awesome dentist, that cares greatly for his patients. His staff are very nice and caring. They put your mind at ease about safety during this time of unrest. I love how Dr. Carmical is very personable and remembers you and your family and always asks about them. He is an expert in his field and feel very comfortable recommending him to anyone. This is my and my wife's first experience with Dr. Douglas Carmical. I observed Doctor operating dental procedures upon my wife. He is pretty darn good. At my age (pushing 80) I have had contact with more dentists than most people on this earth. He and his staff are nice. They have a wonderful, warm, comfortable style. Warm. Friendly. Pleasant. Concerned about patient comfort throughout the entire procedure(s). Efficient. Staff is on top of insurance issues and dealing with the necessary aspects of cost for the dental work. I have chosen to switch to Carmical Dentistry and I wish I had known of him and his great staff much sooner. If you are going to need dental procedures of any kind, Dr. Carmical and staff are your best choice.

It was a long afternoon when after routine checkup I had a filling replaced. I appreciated that they made room for me that afternoon rather then a return trip. And although there was some waiting I was always kept informed, assured I was not being forgotten and received apology for the wait.

The only thing I can think of that would have improved the afternoon was knowing when we finished one part of the procedure - taking out old filling and knowing second part was starting - putting in new one - just as a way of having some sense of how much longer the work would go on. Maybe there are other ways of accomplishing that better.

I very much appreciate the kindness and care of all the staff throughout the time I was in the office!

In the last month I’ve had a couple of fillings. My first visit was with Douglas, and my second was with Colton. Both visits were ABSOLUTELY wonderful and I feel great about the experience! Will definitely be coming back and encourage anyone who needs to see a dentist look no further than the Carmical family!

From the moment I called for an appointment the lady was very knowledgable & friendly. Upon arriving , i was taken to my room with no waiting. The staff started working with me, making me feel very relaxed. I was impressed with the whole staff. Knowledge & speed very impressive. The Dr. came in & started his exam, gave me a plan which was informative, reasonable,& made me feel comfortable. 5 stars!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Carmical (the young one) was very thorough and answered all my questions well. Had some work done on two teeth and he did a great job! I even had a good laugh at my numb smile afterward.

Everyone was so friendly! As a new patient, I was impressed with their processes, updated technology and overall office experience. So glad they came highly recommended from friends, and glad I chose Carmical Dentistry!

Dr. Carmical and his staff did a great job! I didn't have to wait after my appointment time to be seen, they were ready when I arrived. His dental hygienist did a fantastic job and his office staff was efficient and courteous. I'll definitely be going back!

They keep making my cleanings more and more comfortable by modernizing their tools and techniques. They are very gentle in their approach - always patient when I have question or need a pause to swallow, spit, scratch, or otherwise interrupt their work. Finally, though they are quite courteous and engaging before and after any procedure, they politely refrain from asking me questions while their hands or instruments are in my mouth. This seemingly seemingly obvious etiquette has too often been ignored by other dental practices I have visited.

I was having some severe issues with TMJ and Dr Carmical felt confident he could give me some relief! He has definitely made the pain less and has made what little pain I have tolerable. He also found another issue and has given me some great advice on managing the issue going forward! His staff is so friendly and caring and even during a pandemic- they make you feel welcome and I know that this maybe the new norm for clinic’s; but they are doing a great job during this stressful time! If you need a new dentist- call Carmical Dentistry- you will be glad you did!

Our family loves Dr. Carmical and his staff. I always feel comfortable going to my dentist visit. Even my 13 year old daughter loves to get her teeth cleaned because of the gentle treatment she receives!! Thank you so much for all you do!!

Having just relocated here from out of state, it’s a hassle to change to all new doctors but feel like I lucked out here. Office was very clean. Equipment looked well cared for and up to date. Sat in waiting room less than ten minutes. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everyone genuinely seemed eager to take care of me. They really work as a team. Look forward to my next cleaning-kidding but since it has to be done, I feel confident in their care.
