Walmart Neighborhood Market

I was very pleased with the customer service I received today from associates Laura, Ginger and Jen. They were amazing at assisting me with returning an online purchase today, including leading me through the steps on the Walmart app. These ladies are wonderful representatives of the Walmart brand!

I love the bins out back they are great found a half eaten sandwich it was so good.

Found everything I needed and there was no waiting at the check stand with the gal ready to bring up the groceries. Everything went great very good customer service.

Good selection and good prices. They have been adding new products throughout out the store lately, which is always nice. I feel like quite a few of them must be a limited time or supply but overall a great grocery store

Today was pretty quiet when I arrived at the store around 10:45 am. I brought one of the electric shopping carts in form outside after wiping off the seat. And I began my shopping.

As I looked for different products I would encounter different store shoppers. They all asked if I was finding everything ok, & would help me if I couldn't reach anything. When checking out I was treated with respect & got help out. Always when I go to my neighborhood market I get great customer service.

They do have water refill 42 cents per gallon or something. It's by the entrance to the left by the self checkout kiosks.

As always from this Wal-Mart grocery, respectful employees, hand sanitizer available, wipes for the carts, even offered us a mask! (We brought our own) Thank you for thinking about our and others safety. Social distancing was in full practice. Nice to see items in stock again! I can't live with out my coffee creamer. This Wal-Mart grocery is my favorite simply because they consistantly treat us like family.

Hard-working folks. Big aisles...love that. Give shoppers space..doing a great job. Clean. Oh..and the music outside is awesome. Two thumbs up for this neighborhood Wal-Mart.

One of the best things this store has to offer is the wonderful staff in the pharmacy. I have been there during the worst of times and the pharmacy techs and the registered pharmacist have gone above and beyond their duties. If you want old fashioned care from a modern pharmacy this is the place to go!

It’s Walmart … the only impressive thing about it is the very sweet old lady checker. She was so pleasant and kind . Probably the best employee Walmart has . She deserves a pay raise I tell you what !

I have been to this location several times and use the pharmacy here too. I have always had good encounters with the pharmacist and pharmacy techs, and usually have pretty fresh produce and protine in the grocery store. I have always been pretty happy with this store and maybe more importantly, I have never had a bad experience inside this store.

I drop by as needed for the missing ingredient or some allergy stuff, possibly to use my bottle drop loot or get the dog some food, he appreciates that plus love the chicken sticks, all natural and at $ .92 a bag. I love them too... They have misc. house stuff so if you are touching up a wall and paint and need that kind of stuff it there with the light bulbs and glue and pets food and accessories. In the next isle is the treasure shelf where all marked down close out items are. Find anything in the store there.
Typically in and out in 5 to 15 minutes unless between 4:30 and 6:00 or if a serious weather issue is inbound and everyone is there could be a bit of a wait but that only happens just a couple times a year.
The employees are happy and seem to actually like their job so that’s really nice.
The fresh French bread made daily is very good and just $1.00. In front there is a cel phone kiosk to sell your old phones as well as a key machine and lottery. There is a self service water bottle machine as well as a Rug Doctor Carpet machine next to the coin star machine. Fresh flowers and an intregingvlooking coffee machine that says free coffee with the code, have not tried it as yet but one day soon.
Don’t forget the Ice in the front of the store.

With Covid ... things have changed.
Tried to call store and no answer, very disappointing for a name brand to not respond.
I am a google guide and respected , sorry to say Walmart may be slipping in care of retain and then the employees .

Pretty standard for a walmart neighborhood market. They have pretty much everything a typical grocery store carries but bigger sections of makeup and personal items than you would normally find in a grocery store.

This particular Walmart is a neighborhood grocery market with a pharmacy also. I love how clean it is, even the restrooms are clean most all the time (something not often found to be the case in most grocery stores!). Also compared to most Wal-Mart stores, this location goes above and beyond in two areas that are of significant importance to me: 1). Friendly and helpful employees (especially in the pharmacy area), 2). Excellent recovery habits (for those not familiar with the retail sales lingo; "recovery" is the act of bringing the merchandise to the forward edge of the shelf, with the front of the container facing outward towards the consumer, in the correct designated area where it's shelf label indicates it's price (amongst other important information).

I really like the neighborhood Walmart grocery store on SE Powell in Gresham, located near the Burnside entrance to Highway 26. This store has plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits and has a large selection of fresh meats. They just seem to carry nearly everything I am looking for. I find the employees to be very helpful and friendly. It does have some undesirable customers who openly steal in front of other customers but that goes on a lot less here than at other stores I shop at. It really has become my favorite grocery store to shop at.

It was well managed by the employees to allowing limited guest.
Only concerns were at check out where there was ONLY ONE self serve register open for CASH otherwise it was the 2 cashier servicing lanes and the 10-12 debit card lanes. That ONE SELF SERVE CASH LANE HAD 8 PEOPLE IN LINE & 5 lanes no one using in the debit card lanes..
There was an agitated customer that was waiting in the wrong lane (to find out he could not use cash) then moved behind me in the cash lane where I had been waiting more then 10 mins (he was #5) He was stating his concerns, then it got to be verbally rude to the staff lead cashier behind the smaller item count lanes (that is when I moved away to a debit card lane) she walked away what seemed to had report to someone the tone being used and he left.
Not everyone has or wants to use debit cards..
Maybe customer service counter staff or one of the 2 people letting customers into the store would of been able to watch over a currency lane as could of been a CASH tranaction.

Walmart needs more than ONE cash self service lanes!!

You know people have been complaining about the $.05 per bag since the new year. However, the new bags are MUCH stronger than the old ones (even from when stores had decent plastic bags). Worth the little extra.

I came in for bread crumbs, $50.00 later lol but as you know there us always a good deal here. Small pet beds $ 1.72, can't beat the price when you have alot of rescue animals. Love this Walmart, the employees are always helpful and very nice. One employee in particular can't remember his name but he's tall has long hair always in a ponytail he is so nice always smiles and says hello.

I always have a good experience in this store. Never to busy, lines are short. Staff is always nice and helpful. Great prices. Really like this Walmart 👌

I frequent the Pharmacy the most. They are always willing to help and get what's needed filled. The rest of the employees are awesome, polite, and helpful if I have questions.
