El Cuñado Mexican Cuisine

This place is awesome. You will not find more genuine people and great service. The food is fantastic. We had a cheese dip, the burrito California and the nachos. There was SO much food. I highly recommend this place if you like good food and great vibes.

We have tried NUMEROS Mexican restaurants and this one has been the best! Chips, salsa, queso, & beans were amazing. Mexican coke is ALWAYS better than American. My husband got tacos and I got enchiladas and a margarita. Our server was super sweet. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Weekly flavorite spot to eat especially on Taco Tuesday. Service is consistently great. Authentic as it gets.

Ignore the negative reviews if you are wanting a place that is relaxed, as in they give you space and time to enjoy your meal unlike other restaurants where they hurry you out the door or annoy you with “how is everything?”.

This is a SPECIAL restaurant in Rogers. You don’t like ripped seat benches? Great! Everything here is broken in and weathered, where money and time are spent on delicious food, served in abundance.

The portions and prices are more than fair - they’re phenomenal! From the bean dip & fresh salsas, to the perfect Al Pastor tacos, to the char on the chorizo, El Cuñado is a place where you’re treated like familia.

Everything I have tried here has exceeded expectations. I frequent any and all food trucks, Mexican and Salvadoran restaurants, local and chains, only to keep returning to El Cuñado in Rogers and Springdale because they work hard to serve a delicious meal any time of day.

The most authentic food I've had in awhile. The atmosphere makes you feel like you just might be in Mexico having a great time with live music and drinks

I had an absolutely phenomenal experience here. The food was incredible and the staff were so nice. The salsa and bean dip were very good, and you know I had to try the cheese dip which was also great. For my entree, I got an asada torta and I liked it. The fries that came with it were alright. The atmosphere was very chill in general and it felt good being there. Definitely try this place if you're in the area!

The whole family loves this place! Food is delicious and everyone is attentive. My 8 yr old has had his birthday here several times and the staff are always so nice and make it special for him :)

Our first visit today around 4pm on Tuesday. we ordered tacos, they were served promptly. The flavor of the asada and pastor was the best I have had in NWA and we have eaten at many of the mexican restaurants in NWA. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. The food was delicious. The price was right. we will be back next Tuesday. I wish they had a Taco Thursday, as well :)

UPDATE: 10/17/23 returned for 3rd visit. arrived Tuesday at 5 pm. placed taco order with waitress which included water request. We were informed we needed to buy a drink in order to have the taco Tuesday $1.39 price. This was a first. My order came: 2 pastor and one asada. I was served 2 asada and one pastor. I asked for it to be corrected. they took it back to the kitchen and re-delivered: 2 asada and 1 pastor, nothing changed. I kept the order and ate the meal. Later that evening I had a study class and my stomach was upset. Had to get up from the desk 4 times in 2 hours. Not sure about going back to el cunado.

First time eating here and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Truly one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. The food was extremely delicious and our waitress was so incredibly nice. Definitely will be returning.

The people are very nice, and the food is excellent, we eat here every chance that we get,, I highly recommend this place.

Came in with a group of 47 for lunch on a Sunday and we were lucky they had room to accommodate.

My travel partner and I shared a dish that was was around $27. It took a while for our food to arrive cause by the time it arrived for our table most of our group had already eaten and ready to go, but it's understandable.

The food we got was delicious. The portions were big enough to have lunch and still have leftover for dinner.

The best thing I noticed first was that the employees are very patient with my lack of Spanish - thank you! The drink, lunch, and dessert were all perfect - seriously. My server recommended my drink and dessert and I'm so pleased that I will definitely try a lot more things recommended by the staff. My dessert is pictured below and it is fresh cut fruit with drizzled honey and sprinkled with oats and raisins - very tasty! Certainly the best lunch I've had in while and I am looking forward to visiting again for breakfast. Note: they only offer certain soups on specific days.

Yall.... this place is SOOOO good! The staff is amazing and super friendly, the food is delicious and service is fast. Can't believe I haven't been here before! My total.... $8!

Since living most of my life in San Diego, I’ve been searching for Chile Rellenos and other delicious Mexican items but found very few in NWA, until now. The chips and 3 salsas brought to the table were great. 💖

(4.5) My new “go to” for authentic Mexican food! For me El Cuñado combines elements that make for a great Mexican meal; an extensive menu, table service and most important, great food. El Cuñado has great tacos but their dishes like the Molcajete, Huarache and Agua Frescas set it apart from taquerias or the Tex-Mex chains. The Molcajete was delicious and large making it well worth the $21 price tag. It’s like a meat buffet in a stone pot with chorizo, chicken, steak, shrimp, green onion and cactus simmering in salsa. I’ve had versions that looked more appealing but this one is one of the best flavor-wise I’ve ever had. A few negative reviews had me confused. Observations like poor service or salsa not made in house were far from our experience. In fact they served three terrific fresh salsas with chips and rinds. We had two different servers check on us. Both were excellent. They were friendly, knew the menu and were bilingual. While most everyone in the restaurant spoke Spanish, we never felt out of place, it only confirmed the authenticity of the menu offerings. For those that have eaten in this location during its time as an Indian restaurant you’ll be amazed at how nice it is inside now, completely remodeled and clean!

We found this place and have been eating here every Sunday for lunch. The food has been outstanding. My wife and I normally split a plate because the portions are great. I recommend this to anyone who likes Authentic Mexican food. The servers are very friendly as well.

This place is always good. The staff are friendly and attentive. They have changed the look and it looks great in there! Good job!

The Fajitas ala Diabla here are a real treat! I've always ordered the Chicken version, but their deliciously spicy Diabla sauce is SO TASTY that I'm sure all of the protein options for this dish must be equally fabulous! [I suppose I should mention the possibility that some who are sensitive to "spicy heat" might find it too spicy, but - after all - it IS named Diabla!]

Additionally, their table salsa is great! It's just a smidge spicier than most and not chilled.

Also, be sure to try their wonderful Choriqueso appetizer! It's a flaming cheese delight that reminded me greatly of the delicious Cheese Panella I enjoyed for decades at Javier's, my all-time favorite restaurant in Dallas, TX.

Finally, for a tremendous dinner experience, go on a Friday night! That's when they host Karaoke in Spanish! Even if you don't speak Spanish, you will enjoy the emotional, heart-felt performances of the participants. Makes for a wonderful evening experience!

We've eaten here twice now and both times our server was attentive and the food is excellent. Huge portions and they have the best carne asada I've tried in the area, I definitely recommend trying this place!
