Jeffries Eye Clinic PA

I had a great experience at Jeffries Eye Associates in Rogers AR. It was easy to book an appointment, and the staff took great strides in keeping the office clean and followed covid procedures.
Dr. Halstead was able to prescribe the best prescription for me. I seriously feel like someone turned on the lights! I can see so much better! Definitely a fan and would recommend.

For the first time within a 10 years I have met the best doctor in this area. He took his time and explain to me my eye situation so well. I am so glad I finally met Doctor Who with sincerely care spot his patients.

My visit was good.
When I got my bill I realized that I was charged $95 for the doctor to pull (tweeze) two eyelashes that were growing the wrong direction. Two seconds!
Then a few weeks later I called to get a copy of my prescription. Since the doctor didn’t put it in my file, they said I’d have to come in and pay $30 to get a prescription.
Little things that should be part of customer service. I won’t go back.

I went to Dr Jeffries for my chronic eye problems. I was seeing another Dr but they moved to Fayetteville. Dr Robert is very good, seem kind, and very thorough. He explains things that you can understand. My problem is their billing. I got there that morning for an appt and was told to pay a balance otherwise I will not be seen by the Dr. I never knew I owe them. They did not contact me beforehand about the balance. The person filing insurance claim is not very accommodating. She does not believe in my explanation about which in’s is primary and secondary. So, the balance that I owed was from the last visit which they filed wrongfully. Now, the burden was on me. I’m on fixed income and I don’t think that mattered with them as long as you pay them. If they had filed it correctly I would not have to pay $700 on the spot. I don’t think I can afford this clinic anymore. Not recommended if you’re insurance is due to your ESRD, they don’t know how to file a claim and you’ll be paying for the services.

I had an appointment for over 2 weeks. Drove 30 minutes from Bella Vista for appt. When I set up appt. 2 weeks ago. I asked if they take Care credit. They said YES NO PROBLEM. Got there for my appt. Today. And was told that office manager decided TODAY that no more Care Credit would be accepted. Asked them, since I had the appointment for over 2 weeks and drove 30 minutes to get there, if this could be an exception because I had set this appt. Over 2 weeks ago and they told me they took CARE CREDIT! I was told NO. Cash only or insurance. So 5 hours before my apt. The decision was made no more Care Credit! Really!!! That was very bad business ethics. And that is putting it nicely! They wasted my time, gas and I also brought someone with me to drive me home, as I was told my eyes would be dilated. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND JEFFRIES EYE CLINIC TO ANYONE!!! Absulutely horrible office practice. I would suggest you call the day of your appt. And check to make sure your type of payment will be accepted. Because they change things suddenly and dont care what problems it causes for the patient.
