Booked their chocolate making class for some friends coming out of town and it was a blast.

The instructional portion in the front was so informative on the chocolate making process and we got to try so many samples. The best part of course was customizing the flavor toppings for the bar we got to take home.

I had an excellent experience doing the chocolate tour and make your own bar! Tim was an amazing tour guide and teacher. He gave us a lot of great information and kept it interactive with lots of tastings. It was really touching to learn about the story behind the company and their philosophy towards making a positive impact. And on top of that, the chocolate is delicious! I would definitely recommend both for the tour and just for stopping in to buy some chocolate.

I've never seen so much passion and enthusiasm toward making chocolate. The chocolate making bar tour was great. We stand around the table where we will be making the bars and listen through a PowerPoint presentation. Many different flavored chocolates to try and I was beyond impressed by the juice we got to try that can be extracted from the bean pods. This tour is a must to bring your friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful tour!

Had such a great experience here! I've had Creo chocolates in the past but had never been to their storefront. Went in on a whim to grab a gift and Alix who was the absolute sweetest helped us out. The chocolate is amazing - highly recommend the caramels and lemon bar but I will be returning just for the excellent service!

It has become a yearly Christmas Tradition for my Brother and Sister in law to send our family 4 or 5 chocolate bars and sipping chocolate from here.They don't even live here, we do, and absolutely praise the quality, purity, flavors, taste, fair-trade, and the best Ecuadorian cacao I've ever had. The Raspberry Dark Choc, and Spicy Mango are excellent, but all of them are, like the Toasted Coconut. A wonderful experience!!!

I love chocolate and have tried almost all the chocolate from local makers and Creo is my favorite after all these years. I have gone to their chocolate tour twice and it is very informative and a lot of fun. You can to sample almost all the bars and make one of your own bar to bring home. If you're traveling to the area and want to try one chocolate place this should be it.

Creo is also probably the only place you will find candy cap mushroom truffles. I also love their earl grey and Yuzu gimlet truffles, the sesame brittles, their original 73% bar and whiskey milk bar. Creo also used to make the best brownies but I think it went away during covid? I hope one day it makes a come back.

Lovely box of bean to bar chocolates! Received a few boxes as a gift. My cousin knew I would be very picky! I am studying to be a Chocolatier and I was really impressed with the quality and the flavor of their bean to bar. When someone says they are Bean to Bar you know it is gonna be fabulous hand crafted chocolates by folks that care and love chocolate. The flavors were exotic, with a impressive variety. Just a lovely box of chocolates, I devoured the two boxes. This is not for the drug store RS candy folks, unless you want to broaden your palette.

Highly recommend the Make-A-Bar Tour! They give out so many samples and it was pretty cool to be able to make your own chocolate and wrap it.

While purchasing some of their chocolates after the tour, they provided us so many additional samples. While they have so many amazing flavors, I especially enjoyed the Spicy Mango bar, Black Lava Salted Caramels, and many of the other small truffles.

From the moment you walk into Creo, the wonderful smell of homemade chocolate surrounds you. There are so many options it's hard to choose, but they are all really good! These chocolates are an amazing gift. You just can't go wrong here!

We booked a class while visiting Portland and had a wonderful time! It’s always a pleasure to meet someone who loves what they do and you definitely get that from the owner! I highly recommend booking a class to both learn about, and enjoy some delicious chocolate!

Creo is amazing! The story behind their delicious creations is amazing and the chocolate they make here is deliciously unique. My workplace brought us here and we had a tour ending with making chocolate bars of our own. A great family, with a great purpose and delicious chocolates. Creo is amazing!

Perhaps my favorite chocolate shop in the entire country, I visit here every time I’m in Portland. The chocolate is truly exceptional, and the variety of offerings is breath-taking. But what really puts it over the top for me is the incredible customer service. I’ve been there four times now, and every time I go, I cannot get over how welcoming and enthusiastic the staff and owner are to share their chocolate with you. You truly feel like you are taking part in someone’s passion project - and it happens to be chocolate, which is the best thing to be passionate about in my opinion. It might be a little out of the way of most things you plan to do in Portland, but you will thank yourself for taking the extra time to head over to Creo. I just hope I can work in a tour of the place next time!

My fiance and I are going to Japan soon and wanted to bring gifts with us from Portland. We decided on Creo chocolate to take with us. Immediately, we were given many samples of all kinds of chocolates to try out. We ended up finding everything we needed for our trip. We also tried out the Spicy Passion and Ghost Pepper truffles for ourselves. They were so good!

OMG! What a find. This chocolate is amazing and the care and nuance that they make each product with is just incredible. I couldn't believe how many amazing gluten-free options they had! It was so unexpected. I enjoyed the vast array of samples and only wish I'd bought more to take home with me!

Did the make-a-bar tour and had a blast learning about the whole process from farm to the shop. Tim answered all the questions the group had and gave us all so many taste samples of the various bars! Customizing our own bars was fun, as was getting to winnow a bean and taste cacao nibs directly! Would definitely come back to learn more and taste more!

Amazing touring experience for the kids from The Madeleine Catholic school. The kids made their own chocolate bar and learned so much about "how to make chocolate" and it's history. What a beautiful store and amazing staff! There are so many flavors to choose from, whiskey, milk, dark, white chocolate, sipping chocolate, malted milk balls and so much more. Truly an amazing experience and so much fun. Just delicious!
