Cosmic Cavern

We've been to many caves around the U.S. and this was genuinely the best cavern tour we've ever had. Chester was not only patient and informative, but he literally found portions of this cave. We're so happy and excited to have come here and this is now our favorite cavern in the U.S.

We stopped by here on our way home from Branson. Best decision. Cosmic Caverns is beautiful. Chester was so knowledgeable and it was so awesome to hear about how he discovered parts of the cave himself and his work trying to preserve this cave and others. I loved hearing the science behind how parts of the cave were formed. Chester’s love for his job and passion for preservation were infectious. Not only does he help manage the cave but his wife and daughter work there as well. I highly recommend stopping by and seeing them and taking a tour. Our tour lasted an hour and a half and we all could have stayed longer. We will definitely go back in the future for another visit!

I absolutely loved touring the Cosmic Cavern. Besides the beauty, our tour guide Chester made us feel welcome and I felt as if we were not a bother. Chester is not your typical tour guide either. He knows his caves and has years of experience. He is truly the best. I talked to him about exploring more caves myself, and he gave me such good information on how I can get started and what it will take. He went above and beyond. Thank you Chester for all you do and I truly cannot wait to meet you again and learn about the mysteries that lay underground.

Our tour guide Chester was a wealth of information and fun stories. This is probably my favorite cave I've ever been toured. I really will just have to let the pictures do the talking on this one.

Not merely a cave tour, but an adventure! A beautiful cave, accompanied by a first rate narration by Chester,our tour guide. Lots to see, with a variety of structures. Easy parking and a charming gift shop. Highly recommended for cave lovers and anyone adventurous. There are a lot of steps, but it is worth it and Chester is super patient with anyone who moves slowly.

Interesting and fun detour and worth the stop. Tour guide was super informative and detailed about the history, formation, and geography.

Cosmic Cavern is undeniably a “must-see” attraction in Northwest Arkansas, and I can’t recommend it enough. This was a great cave to go to and see. We had great tour guide, Derrick made it fun, interesting, very informative on all the details. Me and my husband had great time. I recommend going. Little busy but good time.

Excellent caves, our tour guide Sam was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. The caves have some steep stairs but always has railing so feels safe, if you tread carefully. Our six year old had a great time. Glad we visited

Gorgeous cave! I have been in many many caves this one is GORGEOUS and definitely worth seeing if you are in this area. Staff was ALL incredibly helpful, tour guide was GREAT! She was entertaining, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! A great time for all ages!

A very nice cave to visit -- much larger than I expected. Our tour guide was excellent, very engaging and made the small children in our group feel at ease. I was not expecting the underground lakes, so that was a nice surprise. Well worth visiting if in the area.

Friendly staff and tour guide. We got there and waited about 15-20 minutes for the tour to start. The tour guide did a good job of mixing in some interesting facts about the cave amongst the corny jokes :-) Highly recommended- it’s a beautiful hour long drive from Fayetteville, and Eureka Springs is just 20 minutes away so we grabbed lunch there on our way home.

We were excited to go on this cavern tour and was definitely as great as we had hoped. The cavern looks amazing and the tour guide Hannah was extremely knowledgeable and well spoken. Look forward to visiting again some day as the expand what is tourable to the public.

Coolest cave I've ever been to, great formations, beautiful and rare structures, cool stairs and paths, it was a very fun tour and the cave has a very interesting history. The guide was fun and had a vast knowledge of the events and history surrounding the cave as well as good stories (I personally think as an unbiased visitor Easton deserves a raise)

Our tour guide Easton was amazing! He told such entertaining stories while we were in the cave that enhanced the experience ten fold! If I could leave more than five stars I would! One of the best cave experiences I’ve ever had and I’ve been to a lot of caves!

Our guide was Dakota. He was fun and goofy! Aside from an idiot and his family that were in our group, we had a good time! Caverns of all types are spectacular to me, but there was something about this one that I really enjoyed.

I’d ask for Adam as your tour guide! He was fantastic and it was a super cool experience. There’s no need to dress warm! The temperature is great and it’s not too muddy down there.

The store has a lot of fun trinkets for the kids, and a few snack for after. I would recommend making sure you have eaten beforehand.

We are looking for some fun things to do with the toddler and this popped up as a fun attraction. It is a little over an hour from where we are staying so it was not too bad of a drive.

The caves were really cool. The tour guide, Landen, was really informative. He was nice and patient with the group and even some of the ‘troublemakers’ we had on the you with us. IE people walking off from rest of the group to take more photos and upset he turned the lights out.

Other than that we learned a lot and show some cool attractions. I would love to check out the other part of the trip with the hard hats and what not (forgot the name of it). Really enjoyed our time.

The only thing was the price was $20 per adult which is a bit high considering we finish the tour in just under an hour.

Dusty is just as awesome as the cave!!! Highly recommended stop for the whole family. Boys 5 & 6 had zero issues traversing the up and down stairs. The Wild Tour sounds like it would also be a blast for anyone looking for that "extra adventure."
