Franz Bakery Outlet

Amazingly good bread products from a Franz bakery outlet store. A few other higher-end brands of breads are available which are baked by Franz for other companies. Some good non-bread products are also offered on the store's shelves. Some bread products are more likely to be available on specific days because they are not baked every day, so ask a cashier which days your favorites are most likely to be available. I don't shop anywhere else for bread anymore.

My favorites are the Cinnamon Swirl sliced bread, and the Pizza Bagels. Also I shop their "back wall", of very discounted bread, some of which can be obtained free if spending $10 or more on other products, or through their rewards cards which allow 5 free items when the card is full. I hold my full rewards cards until I find something I really like available on their "back wall".

I miss my Franz Outlet on SE Stark, but this location will do. The SE Stark location had a better supply of Franz's less common varieties, but that's because there were too few shoppers. Oh, I'm so mad at my neighbors right now. Anyway, I love Franz's outlets. The staff is always friendly and the selection is great. I really enjoy going to a Franz specific store because you get time to pay attention to the wide variety of bread products. In the grocery store, bread is just something I grab off the shelf. But I read the labels at Franz Bakery Outlet. I've been introduced to Western Sour Dough, Seattle's pre-baked bread sticks, and Franz's 1906 White Bread! 😋 It's so much fun going to the Bread Store!

I was so downtrodden when they closed the Franz outlet on SE Stark. Because I live on the west side of Gresham, and it was only a few blocks from my apartment. So, now the closest one is on SE Foster. Just happened to be $1/item day on the discounted racks. Same delicious items and great service. Always keeps me coming back for more.

Its very important to have a quality bakery outlet in this day & age. Well located off exit 17, great deals, friendly staff. $15 goes a long way especially if you get the day old bread!

It's sad to see the condition of Foster in this area but I love this location for franz. The woman working is so friendly and nice and I got one if their punch cards which is new to me, and I'm excited about that. Got $20 worth of bread and sweets and got 2 free loafs. They accept ebt also and the bread always lasts a while. Loooove this place.

They have extraordinary prices here And I was surprised at how much different products they had offer. The place is kept clean and tidy and I felt like I got good service. I will definitely be shopping here again.

Good variety of low cost items. Generally less expensive than buying at shelf price at the grocery store. Bargain rack with $1.25 items with shorter export dates. Quick and friendly checker.

I love Franz.. one of my favorite things about Portland. Good prices, free bread when you buy a certain amount, fresh and tasty. And quality is the best.

Love Seattle International Sour Dough bread. Usually pay $5.99. Since the outlet has the same bread regularly priced $2, I no longer will.

Great prices, great customer service, Veterans discount on Wednesdays, and aged adults..

What a cool place! This is a very nice and very clean store. Fresh bread, fresh goodies, good prices! I got a punch card and freebies too. I spent $15 and had 2 complete bags full! Next time I will bring my own bags! They had a lot of 4 items for
$ 5 but when they carry my brand of Portland City Sourdough that sells for over $4 at the grocery store and I bought it here for $1.25..... I give this a four star rating. My beloved dog would give this a four paws up and I will be back weekly!

It's a good place to find different types of pastries to try. Prices are reasonable and we always find bargain's.

We got a lot of bread for cheap. And we fed the Ducks outside probably shouldn't have gave them bread probably not good for them but it was fun and boy did I get a lot of stuff for a cheap price I highly recommend this place.

Great place to buy bread from the factory store, including their day-old breads at a discounted price, ample parking, and lots of variety in their bread products.
