I had a great experience with New World Drums. I finally reconnected with them to get my frame drum re-headed. After 15 years of use, reaching back to when Jason apprenticed, the head finally gave way. I was so glad to get the drum back into the right hands for repair. It looks and sounds beautiful. Thank you for restoring a valued drum in my collection!

I had taken two drum making classes with Jason as the assistant to Doug Powell, before Doug sold business to Jason and Lorrie. I gave away my first drum and never felt like my second one was a good fit for me. When Jason and Lorrie had the color choice contest on FB I could just “see” the drum I knew I could learn how to play! They chose my colors, which was also colors chosen by 2 other folks. I took it as a sign and arranged to purchase the drum. They made sure I liked how they were going to finish it out. They delivered it today, it is just what I wanted and I couldn’t be happier.
Now can’t wait to start drum lessons with them! New World Drums knows what they are doing, and they want you to have the drum experience you want to have.

Ladies and gentlemen, Jason and Lorrie Davis make amazing sounding, tunable drums. I have a 10" drum they called "Latte". I think I'll rename it "Mocha".

The tone fills the room! I can't stress how good this drum sounds and how well it complements an acoustic set! I haven't tried it with electric.

Back in 2009-2010, I think, Jason and me worked at Guitar Center in Little Rock, AR. I've known he does quality work for years, but I'm genuinely surprised at how good this puppy sounds.

The Pocket Ashiko is beautiful and sturdy enough for kids - I teach children and they also love this drum - but still a comfortable size for adults to hold and play. It has a gorgeous tone and I love the tuning option!

When I went looking for a prayer drum, I looked several places. My friend took me here and it was amazing. I thought I knew what I wanted but after looking and playing the drums, I found the perfect one.
