Such a great place to check out. The staff was super friendly and informative about any of my questions. Also super neat to see the different stages of life for the trout. The inside exhibit wasn’t up and running but there was plenty outside to make up for it. Such beautiful fish to see up close! I will definitely be back!

Great place to take kids and the adults Too! It’s free to view and when they’re open you can see the process! It’s fun watching them feed the fish. Wonderful campsites and places to fish the river!

Want to see some of the biggest Rainbow trout. Here you can see them in many stages. Some are just for the display of how big some can and do get. The Little Red offers some of the greatest fishing trips that awaits anyone. People come from all around the states to have just that experience. This is a free place to enjoy some of the manors and see some great looking live fish. The river runs right beside it and has camp sites and fishing available all the time.

Very cool to see the rainbow and brook trout that are being raised here. This facility is clean and well taken care of. It's free to visit, too!

I went here with my son's Cub Scouts Pack.
We walked around the rectangle concrete holding tanks in the ground that have flowing water and barriers that house the fish while they mature enough to be put into the river.
There are mature trout kept right at the entrance so you can see how big they get.
I think the visitor centers are not open on the weekend until May so it may help to use internet educational material in addition to talking to officers who were helpful with questions.

My 6 year old nephew loves to come & see the fish anytime we are in Heber. Only problem was the office was closed.

We were camping at the Dam Site Campground. Chris loves fish hatcheries. They had an interesting display where the water temperature for these fish was explained.

Beautiful place to visit. There is a staircase by the boat ramp that I love to visit when the dam is generating. The cold water is refreshing and healing.

It's an interesting place to visit if you are in the area. It's free and has good educational information inside. Then take a walk around outside to see the trout at different stages of growth. It also has clean, public restrooms inside.

The river below the hatchery is beautiful! And nice campground with showers and bathrooms. Close to town for a supply run or dining out. Get your trout stamp and hit the water! Make sure your at the hatchery during feeding time....the waters explode.
