I LOVE THIS PLACE! My family and I visit this place several times throughout the year. We drive two and a half hours to come here, and it's worth it. I go here to meditate and get closer to nature and feel stress free. The water is very cold, but refreshing. If you hike the trail, it's about a mile walk to the Little Red River and an RV campground. It's beautiful.

Loved this trail a short walk down a slight hill, but the beauty of the creek is well worth it

Just a beautiful little walk. You can continue on the trail if a longer hike is to your liking. For us, the small walk to a pretty place was perfect.

The water was freezing. We all enjoyed dipping our toes into the cold water. My daughter loved skipping stones and playing in the flowing water.

We took some beautiful family photos. I just enjoyed relaxing on a rock on the bank. The sound of the falling water is relaxing. Overall a nice place to stop and enjoy the scenery.

Awesome family friendly trail that is in the same area as JFK Campground. Entire walk was around 1 mile roundtrip. Trail is very open and very easy to walk. Less than a 1/4 mile to the actual cascade waterfall from the parking area. The trail continues to a very nice playground and picnic area. There is not a big parking area so you may have to park on the road. Overall great for families and small children.

Great trail next to the creek! All forested and shady with boulders galore in the woods. There are so many places for pictures here! Kids had a blast seeing everything, playing in the creek, and running the trail. It does get steep and bumpy (rocks and tree roots) in several places. There are two areas with stairs (very uneven heights) to help keep the trail from washing out. There is a playground about a mile down on the opposite side of the creek. After that is a cute little bridge, but it starts to get smaller at that point. We did not go past that point to see if it got nicer again. Enjoy hiking in this beautiful area! If you get too hot feel free to cool off in the creek since it is freezing!

Wow this place is beautiful! We spent three hours just wondering the trails and enjoying the views. From cascading waterfalsl to beautiful river views. They even had a few rest stop areas to rest at. We'll definitely be visiting this place in the fall.

Had a great time on this trail and the campground. I believe it’s about a mile round trip hike. There is also one additional cascade just below the ones pictured.

A most excellent place to visit for kids and adults. The views of the creek are breath taking. You can get some awesome photos walking the trail along the creek. Watch your step and bring your camera.

We went in early January. This is a short, easy trail near the fish hatchery. It had rained a couple of days before, so there was lots of water in the creek and several small water falls. The trail starts at a paved parking area and will take you to where the creek merges with the Red River that flows below the Greers Ferry Dam. The location is about 10-15 minutes from the lakes where the Trumpeter Swans winter, and from Sugarloaf Mountain, and from Bridal Veil Falls. The area is beautiful in the winter. We plan to go back in the spring and summer!

Beautiful nature walk with small waterfalls. Beautiful picture area. Some steps are steep but if you pay attention and walk on the side of them you will be fine.

1 of my absolute favorites to go. I got at least once a month with my husband. The only thing I don't like is the lack of a bathroom but not a must since your hiking

Was a beautiful hike. Lots of spots to get down to creek and falls to take photos. Trail takes you down to camp ground and river. Can walk to Fish Hatchery from camp ground.

It's a beautiful trail if you're into walking. With a little creek that you can follow to this picnic area/playground to relax at.

It was a really easy hike and we spent about 2 hours just walking all over area, taking in all the peace and beauty. It looks to be fed from the River or the reservoir so I imagine it would be flowing any time of the year.

Kid friendly trail but not a loop so you have to walk back to your vehicle. The trail led to the Little Red River if you continued past the camping area. Also has a small playground along the way.
