Mitchell's Breakfast Burritos

Man what a great burrito place! The owner Robert Mitchell is one nice dude. He took the time to explain the menu to us as it is all his family's names. I had eaten from here before but never been till today. I had tried the Karen and the Gailene and loved both of them. Today I had the Bernadine and it was exceptional! The shrimp were huge and cooked just right, the avocado was fresh and made this burrito delicious. I can't wait to try the Kay's 3 Alarm next as Robert let me try some of the spicy sauce that is on it and it was fire! If you haven't tried Mitchell's I highly recommend you give it try and fall in love like we have! Sorry no pictures of the burritos we were hungry!

We randomly stumbled across Mitchell's Breakfast Burritos while on our way to photograph the 2024 Solar Eclipse. The owner, Robert, told us the history of the restaurant while we devoured our amazing burritos. I don't think I've ever experienced a breakfast burrito like the one I had at Mitchell's. Robert has created some unique and flavor packed combinations. Exceptional!!! And to top it off Robert's warmth and hospitality really made us feel like family.

If I ever visit the Memphis area again, I'll go out of my way to get the experience I had at Mitchell's. Good food and good people - a true gem.

Stopped here for lunch with the family on the way home to Alabama after seeing the 2024 eclipse in Arkansas. Amazing burritos and wraps!! Staff were some of the most friendly people I've ever met. I highly recommend grabbing a bite here if you're passing through West Memphis.

We enjoyed the wonderful flavor of Kay's 3 Alarm Burrito; it's spicy (not too much), flavorful with a little tang from Italian peppers.
Lots of different options for everyone. Cooked to order.
So friendly too.
It's an easy stop off I-40 in West Memphis.

If you haven’t tried this place, you are missing out. We stopped in for breakfast for the first time while traveling. We were greeted with a warm smile. The owners are two of the nicest people you’ll meet. They operate a scratch kitchen and take a lot of pride in their dishes and it shows.. They use fresh ingredients which make their food stand out… I had Gailene’s meat lovers Burrito and was out of this world delicious.. Full of flavor and more than I could eat at one sitting. My wife had the Bernadine’s Shrimp and Avocado and it was over the top good!! The owners came out and we chatted and it was like being around old friends.. Super nice people. We wish them the most success in their business. Our new favorite place to stop while traveling. I highly recommend Mitchell’s, you won’t be disappointed!

This is a family owned business that serves a small menu. I had the Richard's turkey pesto wrap with a side of fries it was so flavorful and very filling. We also tried the Karen Burrito, which is very good. This one was a breakfast Burrito . The family was so welcoming and we didn't have to wait long at all for our food. Want to go back while I'm here to try the quesadilla!

This is a little late as we stopped by here on November 22, 2021, but the food and atmosphere was amazing so I have to write a review. We were passing through on a cross-country road trip from South Carolina to Washington.The owner was the only one in the restaurant that morning and he told us about how the burritos were named after his family members and how the flavors related to their personalities. Mr. Mitchell was very friendly and the restaurant had fun decor which we enjoyed while he made our burritos. We ordered the Bernadine and the Karen burritos. Delicious! My boyfriend was talking about these burritos for days! If we ever find ourselves back in West Memphis, we will definitely return here.

This place is incredible. The owner personally welcomed me and walked me through the entire menu (all items are named after his family) and "introduced" me to each family member, who he has proudly displayed in a photo. The food, let me tell you, is out of this world. I've had a lot of fried pies in my day - NEVER have I had a more buttery, flaky, PERFECT one than theirs. The hashbrown was crispy, warm, and seasoned to perfection (McDonald's wishes!), and I loved the Bernadine burrito. Family-owned, community-loving, and as welcoming as it gets, Mitchell's Breakfast Burrito's is my new fave local place. Love to support a Black-owned business as well!

Placed a to go order for the Joyce (veggie breakfast burrito) and it was piping hot, fresh, and LOADED with veggies and egg! Super flavor/ seasoned perfectly. Really one of THE BEST breakfast burritos I remember having in a long time. VERY generous portion too!

Hidden gem not too far off the beaten path. Just off Missouri st in West Memphis I found a breakfast burrito joint that blew my mind. Ordered a Kay's 3 alarm burrito and it delivered. Not the lowest priced burrito on the menu but for 14.41 it definitely delivered. Great staff had about a 10 minute wait I'm sure call ins are encouraged.

We got there early before Mr. Mitchell's help showed up, so he was cooking alone. He was polite about there being a wait. The locals were willing to wait so we knew the food was going to be good.

When Mr. Mitchell took our order we discovered we had gone to the same collage in Kansas. Go Jayhawks!! He was very helpful with the menu. When we got out burritos they were awesome and so filling. It was worth the drive from Marion.

I would definitely recommend this place.

This is a great little place to stop. Delicious burritos. We had the veggie burritos. It's family owned and ran. Mr. Mitchell was so nice. If you're in West Memphis - go there.

The only mistakes I made about this place is: 1 - We've been here for a week and we did not start those days here! 2 - I should have ordered TWO Bernadines!!!!

This place is LEGIT! Group of 4 of us just walked in and owner was super welcoming! Piping hot fresh coffee, and family named cooked-to-order burritos. When we come back next month, this is where we'll begin our days!

Food and atmosphere was top tier. If you love spicy food I recommend Kay's 3 alarm burrito. Also highly recommend the Galene's meat lovin burrito and the fryer pies.

Making West Memphis proud! Love this spot for burritos and wraps. Don't forget they have lunch, too. Great service and a lot of passion for what they've got going. My favorites are the Bernadine and the Sonja.

The breakfast burritos themselves were an absolute revelation. This breakfast burrito restaurant is an absolute must-try, and as a local resident, I feel incredibly jealous that i dont have it in my town. Trust me - you will not be disappointed!

We were passing through town and luckily decided to stop in for breakfast because it was delicious! I didn't get pictures of everything because we devoured it so quickly. The owner and chef was super friendly and had no problem modifying menu items for the preferences of my two young kids. We will definitely go back if we are in the area again.

Every town should have a Mitchell’s. This was a happy find for a breakfast lover like myself. Was pleased to have multiple veg options. Both delicious. I crushed them over the course of the day. Not sure we’ll end up in Memphis/West Memphis again soon, but hoping this will still be around whenever we return. Yummy. Good prices, good food. It is basically a takeout joint, but there was a high top or two if you wanted to eat there.

Amazing! You have to come here if you're in west memphis. Vegetarian options are awesome too.
