McMenamins Edgefield Espresso Bar

Gorgeous grounds that you can spend hours walking. This property was formerly a work farm for the local poor. It has been repurposed as a vineyard, hotel, spa, restaurant, bar, golf course and more! There are many events held here but it is absolutely worth a visit even if you don't plan to stay the night. Check out the wine cellar or espresso bar for some great local options, or head inside to the gift shop for some kitschy finds.

I absolutely love the Black Rabbit at Edgefield. Their bar area is my favorite spot to go to for some drinks and food. This venue is gorgeous and always a fun experience. I get some great pictures around their property and their food and drinks are some of my favorite. I've always been a big fan of mcmenamins and Edgefield is one of my favorite, if not #1, spots. The Black Rabbit's happy hour/bar menu is so delicious. I love all their drinks that they make as well. Ruby will always be one of my favorite beers. Hands down. I highly recommend this spot and staying at Edgefield at least once! Having breakfast at the Black Rabbit and then soaking in their warm mineral pool is the best type of self care that everyone needs to experience!

We had four at our table. Two bacon-wrapped scallops, one ribeye and one salmon dinner. All were exquisite! We shared the dessert fight of chocolate cheesecake, lemon-basil creme brulee and bread pudding. Again, all were the best! Can't wait to come back again.

Food was amazing and the kid who made the drinks he did a great job definitely has passion for what he does and made every drink correctly.

Food was great, Server was beyond what we could have wanted, The atmosphere was mpre romantic than anything, Old art work coated the walls, The Anti pasta was perfect to start the meal, Fresh sliced Forced meats, Fresh cheese. I had the Alaskan halibut with citrus marmalade. meal was full flavored. properly put together. properly placed on plate. My wife had the salmon seemed just aswell put together. No complaints in anyway about the dish. well put together. 5 stars rating which ia very rare from me.

Great atmosphere and delicious food and beer. The courtyard seating was fantastic and the grounds were nicely landscaped.

It's such a great atmosphere on top of having a gorgeous scenic view on the way. The food is simply amazing and definitely worth the wait. I'm going back for sure.

Great food and service. This McMenamins has so many areas to explore and this restaurant definitely was good as well. Tried the smoked turkey sandwich for lunch and wow...great turkey! Very tasty and large portions.

I ordered a green salad and appetizers. Both dishes were delicious and well priced. The service here was fast and friendly.

Outdoor area was great. Food was pretty solid. Fresh OJ and grilled cheese hit the spot. Friends enjoyed their brunch food. The outdoor atmosphere is way nicer than indoors I'd say.

Went yesterday 11/29 for late lunch with my 19 yr old grandson. It’s his favorite place, and mine. Had tater tot appetizer which was outstanding! Also burgers which were definitely great!!

I’ll be taking all my family back through out the year. They love service; I had Eli G. Yesterday. The place was swamped, but he still managed to keep filling our drinks and brought appetizers out fast!

This restaurant has a high-class vintage feel with fresh flowers and candles at every table. Their food is very good, and all of their dishes are pretty unique. You can tell the chef's put thought into every recipe they prepare. They change their menu items frequently so there is always something new to try. I've ordered their cauliflower meal multiple times and only once it was served to me burnt. Other than this one instance their service and food is great!

On a Monday an Alumni Assembly of Over Thirty For Brunch Were Treated First Class!!

Wow! I've never had bad food here but it is out of the park as of late. Came here twice on my birthday for some delicious eggs norwegian after a spa appointment. Best hollandaise I've had in Portland. Came back with friends for lunch, I didn't realize they were closing soon as they transitioned to dinner but they still honored the reservation I made for a group of 11, the waitress was courteous, food was excellent and service was quick. Can't wait to come back!

We took the tour around the winery and the grounds. It is very cool and interesting. I have been going to this place every time I visit Portland, and this time I couldn't believe the freak show. It seems as all the fruitcakes, along with the clown posse has found out about this place. They were all in the bar and Power House restaurant.
If you want an amazing dinner stay in the Black Rabbit. The food is outstanding and the prices keep out the trash. I cant say enough about the Duck..the Lamb and the service.. I love a great Merlot and it is fantastic. I sampled some of their other wines and they are also as good.
There is a nice Hotel and Spa but I have never stayed, we have a place right down the road.

My first time to eat at the Black Rabbit. Beautiful inside with lots of wood. Service was excellent even though we had a group of 12. Today's lunch special was a Cesar salad with salmon. Fantastic! Well done!

My fiance and I went here with a good friend of ours. The brunch was fantastic and the specials/menu items were reasonably priced. The idea of preserving historical places by turning them into lodges, pubs, and restaurants is a novel idea. The preservation of bits of history while simultaneously getting a feel for the culture of Oregon made it the perfect place to go to eat. Highly recommend finding one of their several locations.

Loved it! Great service. Great food. I had the bacon wrapped scallops and loved every bite! Then followed that with the coconut bliss icecream. SO good!! And it was fun to wander around the grounds. What a fun place!

Good is always good, patio seating during concert was awesome. Pork chop was recommend but was super tough, subbed it the steak and was not disappointed. Except they charged for the steak price instead of the pork chop... All in all good, I always go back and always recommend
