Cinemark Tinseltown Ogden 14

So... How do you rate a movie theater properly. Butter on popcorn ratio. The candy right I think it's the candy maybe. Or maybe it's nostalgic filled with mystery and Wonder. Tinseltown at Newgate Mall in Riverdale. They have popcorn they have candy they have an arcade. Yeah it's a theater what did you expect. As a child I don't ever remember my heart stopping. All of the wonderful movies I watched. Not once did I go damn. Then you sit down in a seat at the Tinseltown theater. Lights dim the projector starts. And you feel the speakers. Notice the word feel. You don't get to hear him. I jumped in my seat. Instantly knowing I'm in for a ride. You feel Dominic rev his motor. You feel the explosion off in the distance. You definitely jump when the scary guy comes out. One of the best movie theaters I've ever sat in. Yes they're popcorn is fantastic. So are there nachos and their hot dogs. The candy is candy. Expensive...$ There drinks or wet. Though it is easy to say. If you want nostalgia for a date. Maybe you want your kids to remember a great time one time. This is one place to make memories, and have a good time. So... Let's take our seats ladies and gentlemen. Remember to turn of your phone. Be respectful and quiet at appropriate times. Sit back and enjoy the film. Because you know you paid $$$ C-assssh for these memories right hear.

Love this cinema. Great location, plenty of parking and you can grab a bite to eat before or after in the food court.
Took my two teens and reserved seats online, then scanned the barcode from my phone. There’s a small arcade in the entrance which is fun for the little ones (and big ones :) Extremely clean, spacious with great decor. As always, the drinks and other concessions are well overpriced- $5 for a soda 🤔 BYO drinks and treats … sorry Cinemark) but defo get the popcorn 🍿 The seats are luxury recliners which stretch all the way out so if you’re a bit tired, you might doze off, they’re that comfy! We went on a Sunday and we virtually had the place to ourselves. I’m sure Fri and Sat nights are buzzing but I like the chill, quiet Sunday vibe. The biggest draw is easy access with loads of parking outside the mall (park on the SW or SE end for easy access). The mall itself is fairly basic although the food court is alright (Pretzel-maker, the Chinese and Greek place is good). There’s a few decent stores although footlocker has been quite disappointing lately. I’ll do a separate review on the mall sometime :) I’d give this an absolute 10/10, but Cinemark, please reduce your concession prices - they cost more than the movie tickets. We’ll be back soon!

Come mark is a great theater. Price was surprisingly good, and the seats are incredibly comfortable... reclining with foot lift. The movie (Venom) played with no issues, and the digital screen was crystal clear. The lobby and restrooms were clean as well.

This is one of the best places to see movies, all the seats are reclining. Because of that I always check to see if the movie I want to see is playing here first. Sound is also good too!

One of the biggest things for me when it comes to a theater is cleanliness. The staff here keeps the property and the seats and theaters pretty dang clean. In addition to that, all theaters have luxury reclining seats and the food service is pretty good. This theater also has all the Cinemark features of mobile ordering and scanning tickets which makes it really nice. I wish I had more food options, you get what you get. This one is not the largest Cinemark out there and fits nicely inside a mall, but just know you're going to have a nice seat that's clean.

It was great! We bought our tickets online. No waiting in line. Concession stand, either. Very friendly. Yummy popcorn. Soo comfortable seating!

Cinemark in Ogden at the Newgate Mall is amazing!! All seats recline. Their concessions are some of the best!! My favorite concession is the personal cheese pizza. I think Devin is very professional and so kind when I've had interactions with him. And, Susan is the sweetest lady that sells and distributes the movie tickets. I will be very sad when Susan decides to retire from Cinemark. I met her years ago when Cinemark in the mall was called "Tinseltown". And there used to be an actual ticket booth inside the mall hallway. We asked her about the movie "Lady in the Water". Susan informed me and my two cousins that it actually wasn't a scary movie. So, we decided not to go. Plus, we didn't have enough time, because we were just waiting and killing time while our grandma shopped at Ross. I will always remember that first interaction with Susan back in 2006.

My favorite theater. The workers are much better and nicer than other Cinemarks, it's very clean, especially the bathrooms, and even though they're perpetually understaffed (I blame the system) they're very efficient.

Wish a picture could show you the comfort of the chairs in these theaters! The lines for concessions was short and we were able to order quickly and get right into the theater. Seats are so, so nice. Large reclining chairs with cupholders. That's all you need to know. Would totally recommend this after a stressful day. I could just sleep in the chairs, but wanted to watch the whole movie.

Very comfortable seating. I like that the steps were wide enough for someone with a cane.

Such a fun movie theatre! Been going here since I was a kid. I love it, it’s always nostalgic for me. Went and saw the Barbie movie, the seats were good. The popcorn was delicious!! And the people working were so friendly. I will always come back to this theatre!!

Great price compared to other local theaters. Clean seats and bathrooms. All seats recline and their movie pass is 100% worth it if you go the the movies even every month or two.

Saw Barbie with the wife and kids. The tickets were bought online so we could pick our seating. We just showed the QR code to the front desk and went right in. The place smells good and felt pretty clean. The recliners with armrests were a nice addition. My only complaint might be how pricey the snacks are but I don't think that's a big secret. All in all a good experience.

I swear by this theatre. I know they say the screens are a little smaller compared to megaplex, but the seating is the best here. All recliner seats. I swear I only buy tickets here for our family for that reason alone.
Also, I used to work for a care facility and this place has a wonderful amount of
Space for wheelchairs. I absolutely love that.

The spring bulbs are starting to bloom. What a lovely place to enjoy.
