West Valley Hospital

My 88-year-old friend was in need of rehab following surgery and received those services at West Valley. She came to West Valley not able to stand on her own and left a couple of weeks later walking. The PT and OT staff was exceptional. The nursing staff, service staff, and social workers were as well. Without exception, they were competent and compassionate, often doing extra to help my friend succeed in regaining her strength, confidence, and ability to function. I give them five well-deserved stars.

I visited the ER this morning after a bad fall. From the the moment I entered, everyone was amazing from the wonderful lady who checked me in, to the technician who took x-rays and a CT SCAN, to the nursing staff and a shout out to Dr Ferroggiaro!!! I was in a lot of pain, but all these people made my visit so much better!!! Thank you Dallas Community Hospital. I live in Keizer so in the past I would go to Salem Hospital ER. While I hope to not visit the ER in the future, but if the need arises, I will be back in Dallas!! Thank you all so much.

Amazing staff from reception to check in nurse, Dr., Cat Scan tech , transport, lab techs. You guys were amazing today thank you for the amazing care you gave my baby. I’m so grateful she is ok. Your support though this scary morning was outstanding.

I had a pretty awful experience here about 10 years ago when I showed up with pancreatitis due to gallstones and was confused with another patient by the same name; I wasn't treated professionally or compassionately at all. Due to my new primary care provider being in Dallas, I ended up getting x-rays here yesterday and a mammogram today. What a remarkable change! The hospital has been upgraded and looks much more appealing. From the employee who checked me in to the radiology tech and mammogram tech, I was treated courteously and professionally. I am happy to say that I feel confident about seeking care at Dallas Hospital. Smaller hospitals are many times able to offer a more personal touch to care than most bigger hospitals can do anymore.

Best ER I have ever gone to. Don’t go to Salem, they are super busy and burnt out. Nothing against them, it happens in healthcare. Dr. Chapman, the OBGYN, and the nurses (I’m sorry, I forgot your names!) there are THE BEST medical professionals ever. I never met a doctor/nurse who took me seriously, listened to what I know about my body, gentle, and extremely kind and caring. Had many great conversations with them to the point I nearly said, “see you around.” Obviously, we don’t want to see each other around the ER again. Wonderful experience! I have gone twice to this hospital and they have yet to fail me.

I just moved to Oregon and experienced a bad fall. I had no health insurance yet but because of intense back pain I was compelled to seek medical attention. I was leary about going to the hospital after reading such horrible low reviews about the hospital. Well I want to say my experience was quite the opposite. From the moment I walked in the care and compassion was abundant. The wait was short, the nurses were caring and understanding and made me feel as comfortable as possible. The xrays were done quickly and before I knew it the Dr came in to examine me. Her compassion and kindness were refreshing. Because I was there due to excruciating pain I was afraid the staff would think I was there just for pain meds. The Dr quickly validated my pain and offered medications to help in my recovery. Thank you so much to the awesome Doctors and nurses and the kind and compassionate manner in which they serve! Bravo Salem health west valley hospital!

I had extremely bad back and pelvic pain with upper stomach ace. I was scared to go to hospital because I tested positive for covid and felt I would be treated poorly. However the staff treated me wonderful and took a lot of safety measures. Made me stay in vehicle tell a room was free…once I was in room I was treated by RN Bonnie and she was very kind. Dr.Goldberg was very helpful and made me feel important. All the staff was kind and made being treated alone in pain a lot less scary. I appreciated all the staff there for being very nice and helpful.

My toddler had a fall and had a bad gash on a Friday evening. Took him in and there was no wait before we were taken back. All the doctors and nurses were amazing with a small child. They took their time to make sure everything was done correctly and the best. At the same time they had the proper urgency. We weren’t just left on our own unnecessarily like I’ve experienced at some busy ERs. They did a thorough and caring job.

I had to run in for a quick scan. I was in and out in under 45 minutes. Everybody was very friendly.

Normally it's pretty good here but today they told me to be here 30 minutes too early. Oh well, guess I will meditate for a while on how nice everyone is here. This is a great hospital.

I had a CT scan for lung cancer done today and they had the results on mychart less then 3 hours later!! Thank you so much!!

I just want to say that doctor Christina Meier is the best er doctor I have ever seen at the er and I hope if I ever have to go back I really hope she is there for sure hands down thank you so much 👍👍👍👍👍👍
